Before the place was ruined by tour-mobs and bad govt. we drove our 2wd trucks and VWs down there (1970s) so cute
to see 4wd with guides.. it was where the cool people went to hang out.

Just a little reminder that highway 18 is currently closed between Lake Gregory Drive and Pine Avenue in Rimforest for road repairs which may take several months to complete. Vehicles headed to the Lake Arrowhead area must detour on to Highway 189 or North Road, or come up Highway 330 through Running Springs.
