Piyush , Your videos are very much content specific ,Thank you for that, I am person looking to start career for 10 years of Gap, I managed to land in a small IT role in a school, But really skeptical about landing in a proper IT role though my educational background is computer science(Dream is to find a place in Tech giants😉). Everyone makes a video for fresher or already employed but no one guides people like me , who is aspirant and young at mind but have practical logs in the way. If you can makes such content revealing the real truth of possibility in finding a career for someone like me and if so some technologies to opt for. Despite the request, Thanks for them.
First of all, Kudos to you for landing a job in IT after a huge gap of 10 years. It is a huge achievement and not everyone has the determination/patience to do that. Hats off to you. I am here to help you in any way possible, feel free to reach out to me on Linkedin. I would like to know your current skillset before I would suggest you anything. Also, I would say, you have done the hardest part, now you just have to polish your skills and learn what is in demand in the market.
Hi Piyush Excellent session. Hitesh Sir is always motivator for all of us who specially works in IT space. One query I have total 8.5 years of coding experience started my career into PHP (around 5 years) and then 3.5 years around in full stack domain (JavaScript domain specially), I want to transition or moved into cloud domain which is area of interest nowadays. Specially keen to work in devops side of it because I am good at Linux and writing mini script codes. So since from past learning K8s docker studying so right now after reading a lot still not understanding which CLOUD PROVIDER to choose and how to jump with cloud developer role specially then slowly devops market in same org level
Hey Rakesh, Thanks for the amazing feedback! Yes Hitesh sir is OG. Regarding your query: You can pick any cloud that you like, try with AWS as it is most popular and most of the companies are using it hence, highest number of open jobs in the market but it doesn't matter as the concept of cloud computing is similar irrespective of the cloud provider you choose. As you have the development background, you can work on Iac in aws using aws cdk , Serverless has a lot of scope, you can work with services like AWS lambda, create lambda functions, deploy it using CDK etc. these will give you a good kickstart as an AWS developer.
Sir i m very much confused between these 2 professions like shall i choose for devops as a career currently working as cloud operations engineer or shall i go for. MBA because interest in finance career
Hello Shubham, Apologies for the delay in response. I missed your message and just saw it; hence, I am replying now. If you already know your interest area, you shouldn't ask anyone about their thoughts. The way I see a prospective career is a balance of three things:- - Your area of interest - Growth opportunities in that area - Your skills When you find a career that gives you above three, go for it and give your 100%. In your case, is it worth spending a lot of money on an MBA at this moment? 2 years later, if you get a job in finance? Would that pay you more than what you would be making simultaneously had you gone through the DevOps path? Finding your interest area is also essential as ten years later when you are settled in your job and don't like what you are doing, it will be difficult for you to move then as you would have home EMI, credits, car loan, and other liabilities to pay off. I trust you will do your research and make this decision wisely. Good luck for your future.

Great podcast, lots of things to learn from both of you!! Hitesh sir very nicely explained how technologies have evolved and how you can align it with your interest and skillset. People now fail to understand that point, the way things used to be done earlier has changed now. Piyush bhai as always you are awesome!! Hitesh sir thanks a lot for your valuable insights and keep inspiring us!! 🙏
Thank you so much brother for always supporting us. I am glad that our content is helping others. As Hitesh sir said, knowing these things gives us happy sleep. He is an inspiration and role model to many of us.
Hi Shilpa, Yes definitely. If you enjoy it, you can definitely go ahead with that. It opens a lot of opportunities for you. I personally know a lot of cloud and DevOps engineers who are either in their final year or recently passed out with no prior experience and they are doing good.
In my opinion, If you don't enjoy it 😊 but how do you know if you don't enjoy it? maybe try out a few different areas, cloud computing, devops, scrum master, product management, solutions architect, business analytics, data engineering and see which role gives you the most satisfaction
Hello Amrut, There are a lot of opportunities that doesn't depend on your degree. Yes, a lot of companies asks a degree as a prerequisite but there are many companies that doesnot. There are also a lot of remote jobs and freelancing jobs that doesnt require you to have a degree. I hope it helps.
Thank you so much for having me. I wish your channel grow up exponentially
