I love the part where Marilla tells Anne not to be foolish over her idealism with love. Anne has the view of what love should be and nearly loses Gilbert because of it. It’s realistic.

I really need to watch the movies since the a Netflix series was sadly cancelled. They look a lot different from the show. But I know I’ll still love them just as much as I love the show.

@@rory7174 it didn't follow the book in the slightest. they wanted to make anne a published author (she's not jo march, they don't need to make her who she's not, she's amazing just as), they also made it about the war and how gilbert went and anne went as well to find him, and how she took care of a little boy and it was all very dramatic and poorly written and not anne at all! i really disliked it, sorry about the rant! 😅

Hi! I know dailymotion has them, but the quality isn't very good and the audio is a bit slow so you have to change the speed to 1.25. Unfortunately I don't think they are available for free in good quality😕
