If you have acquired Turkish citizenship after turning 40 or have health problems, you do not have to do military service in Turkey. Except for these cases, military service is compulsory for all men who acquire Turkish citizenship.
Turkish SAT commandos are one of the best commando's in the world. SAT (su altı taarruz) which means 'under water attack' . They compete with navy seals and mostly come out on top. Which İ'm very proud of.
