I got a chance to know him on a disc golf boating trip in Florida and can confirm he's super chill. Gave me some very helpful tips for my forehand as well.
At the 2017 Idlewild Open I met Eric Oakley by faking getting hit by one of his practice drives he was throwing between 18 and 1 while I was walking towards hole 1 from hole 18 after finishing my round. I made a motion and a sound like I got hit by one of his drives and around half way back to hole 1 I started slow motion running towards Eric and when he saw me doing this he immediately started slow motion running towards me and we perfectly timed a jumping slow motion hug( he doesn't know me!!). He thought he hit me, I let him know I tricked him. He was super cool and nice about It. It made my weekend! One of my favorite professional discgolfer's reaction/interaction of 20 years! Eric you da man!!
Instead of "Rip it and Reassess", you could use "Chuck it and Check it". After chucking the disc, you check what's left - sometimes good, sometimes not.
I feel like 6 or 7 years ago these touring pros would have never missed some of these gaps. The way the pro tour is going does not highlight these kinds of holes enough. I wish courses had a good mix of these kinds of holes and the current crusher holes
I wonder if James has tiny springs in his shoes that make him walk so bouncy
This seems like straight up science.
He's a frolicker 😅
Nah he's just made of different stuff. It's lighter stuff. James weighs 31 pounds
James Conrad is related to Tigger!
He does have springs in his shoes.
It’s called toe walking
omg the footage on erics shot on 9th hole was some special perfection..good job shot was tight!!
Eric just seems like the kind of player you wanna have on your card , gives me good vibes I’ve always liked. Glad to see him on the card here.

I kept score for this card on Udisc live. They were all awesome. Evan Scott was the quietest one. All really awesome people!
Thanks!

Thanks for all the great coverage and commentary!!
Yep the commentary is definitely up to par here. I'll see myself out 👋
I have a feeling 23:20 will be on SmallBore outlaw soon lmao
It's a HUCK AND HUSTLE hole. You're welcome.

This is the kind of course I think Simon has been looking for - was really wishing he could have tried it!
If I was James, I’d dearly love to have those strokes I gave up on 18 yesterday- especially with Ricky clawing his way onto lead card
Seems that Ricky and the "where he hails from" changes every year.
Great work
Great coverage on an excellent tournament. Keep coming to Washington! 👏
That James Conrad nomad just sells itself don't it
Let’s Go MPO Disc Golf!
hey, Ricky on lead card, finally! 🎉
Love seeing Eric throw the Quake!
I swear if I hear Nate Perkins say “diss goff” one more time!! 😂😂

"Pull and Ponder"
Yes!!
i feel like a lot of step putts and jump putts are foot faults
Love me some Nate commentary, but Connor is too good!! Fav duo in the booth for sure!!
james the Bush Wookie ... 🤣
Connor and Nate are top tier commentators
This 14 year old kid has been a pro for 2 years???
I think he's 17 lol
Neato!
why would you spoil what Connor scored during the final round right before the final round?
Probably because he wasn't in contention. 🤷
James Proctor falling out of the top ten once again. Like clockwork.
1
First!
You weren’t, nice try
Second on first!!!!!!!!!!!
First 😅
First hole wasn’t a good break for James … it was just skill … salty commentator
