- Dear Mates, welcome to the final Show. When we met in the US back in 1996, our friendship was instantly bonded through the language of music. Back then it was Trance and within that genre we always fell for tunes with an awesome melody, a kick ass beat, and an atmospheric vibe. After the 90s era we took a 10 year break and met again a little over 300 weeks ago. Everything has changed. Trance was dead for years, technology was heavily digital, and the DJ market was completely oversaturated. What didn’t change was our passion for trancy sounding music but how could we express that in a modern and mature way? Well, we figured that a mix of deep, melodic, and atmospheric music spiced up with groovy and occasional uplifting beats could resemble our state of mind. It became clear that the only way to pull off a mix like this would mean that we would need to combine all kinds of electronic music genres for as long as it fits the criteria. Could you give this style a name? We described it as “Deep Space House” and from that came our DJ name.
Fast forward 300 weeks: THANK YOU FOR BEING LOYAL TO THE SHOW! I think what connects you and us together is a sense for a specific desire in music: tranquil sounds. Atmospheric stuff. Deepness and music that just isn’t made for kids. Underground. Let’s keep up the connection and so feel free to rotate the archives. Good news though: there will be one-off specials here and there but without any set schedule. Another thing that’s on the road map is to re-master every show and take out the radio commentary from the earlier shows. Over time, a digitally re-mastered archive will become available. But also without a planned schedule.
And of course, to all the artists and labels who helped us shape our DJ sound: THANK YOU! Without you, this show wouldn't exist.

I´m 65 years old already. I live on the other extreme of the world, Chile, SouthAmerica.... I don't think I will be able to get to the end of this 300th selection without shedding a few tears... I'm a software programmer and DSH has literally become part of my working life. When i'm writing code I *always* do so with headphones in and DSH on. It's become such a habit that I find I can't really write code without headphones and DSH anymore. I think the impact your regular, quality mixes have had on people is far and wide. For me it's become something I hold in high regard - an essential part of my toolkit.
I think there is something understatedly beautiful about this genre of music. Most people that I meet don't see it's fascination. Whilst I listen to this final episode I do so with a tear in my eye but with a smile on my face. I believe we should all feel a sense of camaraderie. A band of brothers if you like, for sharing the last 5 years together.
It's hugely sad that DSH has come to an end, but I can appreciate the time and effort that this must take up for you both. I wish you farewell. And thank you for the memories.

The words "thank you" aren't enough to express my gratitude for the extraordinary work you guys have put out over the past couple of years! This musical podcast IMO will go down as one of the greatest of all time, and without a doubt, the best Deep Podcast of all time! This podcast was one of the main reasons I got into podcasting myself! Episode 017 back in October of 2012 was the first DSH show I heard, and since then I've been hooked! The deepness of your mixes really couldnt be found anywhere else on TH-cam (other than Darko Corazzo, who is no longer producing), and although I hoped you guys would have grown significantly more on TH-cam, the truth is this genre is so nuanced. I applaud you for keeping to it for 300 episodes. I thankyou for the hundreds of hours of amazing tunes you produced, which got me through years and years of work and study. Sincere thanks and gratitude. Loading up your Friday mixes was a definite highlight each week. On the rare occasion the upload was delayed, I would go into a semi-panic mode! You managed to strike a perfect balance between exploring different sounds, yet keeping the vibe consistent. Doing this for 300 episodes is a testament to how skilled you both are, and your pure love of the music. While its hard to grasp not having a new mix each week, I'm so thankful to have been along for the ride. Thank you.

Thank you for all the hard work guys. You may not get the numbers that big name DJ's receive, but rest assured your sets are deeply appreciated by aficionados of electronic music everywhere. I'm more of a pure techno fan myself, but I've enjoyed every single mix and I've been thoroughly hooked since I stumbled upon one of the earlier sets (100 something?) on DI.fm. It's been an entire year. It's been hard without these shows, They'd always be a nice refresher every Friday. I'm here waiting for 301, Even if it never comes.
4 years ago, I was casually listening to some music, When this channel, DeepSpaceHouse kept showing up in my recommended feed. I caved in and listened to it. It was Deep House, My favorite genre of music. I loved it. It was peaceful, Trance-y, And was just amazing for sleep music.
1 year ago today, I witnessed the death of my favorite genre. They said it would be their final show, And it hit me hard. I'd listened to them for only half their time, Only three years, And they'd be gone. They were the only ones who consistently made good music in this genre, And they'd stopped.
You guys were a huge impact in my life, Even if it wasn't a long time. You helped me a lot through my hard times of stress, Helped me to relax. You made the best music of this dead genre, And I just hope that you make more in the future so that it never truly dies. I miss yall. Wish you luck.

WOW sad news. Deep space house has been a big part of my love for house/techno music over the years. Thank you for the great content always! Really sad to hear it's the end so I hope the sporadic posts continue from time to time as mentioned above. Like many others, Deep Space House has a special place in my heart. I remember the day I discovered the channel. I wanted to find music to listen to while I retouched and composited photos. That was in 2015 when I was in a college photo program and Deep space house got me through some loooong editing sessions. I moved and transferred to a different school after that program and I still listen to these shows. The mixes you guys created has certainly played a role in the way I create Art. Not only my enjoyment of creating art, but my attentiveness towards imbuing a deeper meaning in art. While listening to this kind of music I always think of things outside my normal everyday life. Not many things can do this for me. It's shaped my art practice and who i am.

I am going to miss you guys. I've listened to you guys so I can get through client work for some clients. Well, I fired those clients and it's fitting because your show is ending. Times changes and while I appreciate the times where things have changed, I understand that life is different and that I have to progress forward. You two have to progress forward in your lives and I understand that more than ever now.
