Excellent video thank you for showing this! I wonder how the inside of the crank got rusted as it looks that its pretty well sealed on my motor anyway,i run mine off the intuitiva display as its whats always on my bike and has seen me thru the very last classic in 2014 a performance 2 and 3 and now this motor but if my motor isnt a smart system is there anything i should change as in bearings ? Ive taken note of the bearing list i dont ride hardcore mountains but i do enjoy a few fields and bumpy laneways every now and then but always maintain my bike i cant seem to get my trusty 500powerpack to work on it its 2019 but very healthy my downtube works ive it setup on the underside of the bar not internal as the bikes a hardtail but ive modified some nice brackets without taking any strength from the bar i was hoping to add the powerpack also could it be a software update as the powerpack works in my classic both gen 2and 3 and even my dads activeline plus any ideas ,but again massive thanks i will get a complete bearing set for future work on the motor thank you ✊👊👍
Great video. Great to see a complete teardown including transfer box. I just wish my main gear came off so easily. i like the technique you used, was a lightbulb moment to ensure sprags were not engaging.
FINALLY I find video that show CX smart AND at 1:10 - 1:16 you show me easy way how to remove the BIG Gear without special tool. Thank you ;) Now I only need to find the special spacer you use to re fit the BIG gear on crank shaft.( 10:40 - 10:57 )
Do you have reflective tape on your bike? The roll-up kind? There's a thin strip of metal inside. Take it out of the reflective packaging. You can use this strip to put the big gear wheel back on. It just takes longer.😉
Bearings: 6901Z, 1600 1 -2Z, 6200Z, 6000Z, NK6, NK7, Be very careful when putting the magnet back in. At 3:58 you can clearly see how I marked the position of the magnet and rotor.
@@opravyelektrokol-xl6ym am i safe to assume that it can be marked anywhere around the circumference of the magnet and rotor so long as they match during reassembly? what does this magnet do? Thanks heaps for the info. Your video is by far the best on YT. ill be following for future vids
@ You can mark wherever you want. You have to put the magnet back in the right place. The magnet gives the control unit a signal about the position of the rotor and stator.

No. It is a tube, specially turned to size.

Any chance you can list the transfer case bearings? i know a couple but hoping you may know to save me disassembling a good unit.
