Both are different in flavour... black cardamom is bigger in size
@ sayanora. Taste and aroma of both cardamom are different. Black cardamom has more earthy flavor

Mam any reason why the soaked water wasn't discarded ? Usually we always discard the water in which pulses are soaked ..
I use same water as I feel it tastes better. But I don’t use soaking water while cooking channa
