Nice product. I noticed Rouz offered 3d printed carbon fiber filled tube rings. I’m old school and would be nervous attaching an expensive telescope with plastic. Sometimes I think it is best to keep the weight of the computer, powerbox, and dew controller off the mount arm.

@mr.b3054 From my understanding, the tube rings have carbon fiber included as part of the process (not really sure, as I don't have any rings from Rouz Astro). But a fellow astrophotographer I know has them for his Takahashi Epsilon E-160 newt and it works great. I figure that if you can use them on a Tak, they must be OK. But I also live in Arizona, so not sure how well they work in the cold. But from what I have seen, and I did see the rings on his Tak, they look really good and he has had no problems with them. But as always, your mileage may vary. Clear skies!

Just stumbled upon your channel and have been looking for different mounting solutions. I just placed an order with Rouz Astro, even talked directly to him on the phone. Fantastic customer service. Looking forward to using his products to clean up my "mounting mess". I've been emailing him and he asked what UTube channel I saw his products on. I forwarded a link to him if you dont mind. Thanks for posting this.

Nice video. Thanks for posting this. I wish I knew about rouzastro about 6 months ago. I was able to find the mounts and adapters to mount my miniPC on top of the Pegasus powerbox but it took a lot of searching, trial and error...

Yea, I was in the midst of doing the same after my Velcro failures. But a fellow astrophotographer got some rings for his Tak E-160 and I thought that they looked great, so I went out and checked to see what was there and, well, here we are with a new mounting system. CS!

Thanks for letting us know. You probably need a longer vixen dovetail because I don't think you can attach it to the mount.

@indysbike3014 I use Losmandy plates on the bottom of my telescopes, and vixen on the tops. What you saw in the video was the top of the telescope. I have converted all my telescopes to use a Losmandy plate for attaching to my mounts. I find that the Losmandy are more stable. Clear skies.

Good solution! What mini PC is this? It looks big!

It is the Mele Overclock 3C mini pc, unlike the Mele Quieter series, the overclock series is actively air cooled.

@@DaveUrbanAstro You are already wearing short sleeves at the beginning of March, I guess you need that cooling 😉 I need heating here 🤔
