    Rice and wheat are having almost same calories or carbohydrates. Millets are good but main food is based on either of these. Oil and salt are also necessary for body. Olden days people are taking normal food. They were healthy through out their lives. Suggest proper physical excercise and proper non refined oil etc. That will help for the mankind I believe.

    The fact is all millets ( korralu,andukorralu, samalu etc.,) are very hard food for a white collar employee. If one take millets food means he should take food on great hungry only.

    Dr sir...first bring fasting insulin level to considerably low
    Ex....present levels ..12 ml
    Desired levels 6 ml
    12ml will give spike to 70 to 90
    To come to basal level it takes 6 to 7 hours.
    5 ml spike is the base ,spikes goes up to
    3o to 50 ml ,this spike takes 2 to 3 hours to come to Basel line 5ml.
    This drama spikes is the root cause for that syndrome.
