- The all-new Cheetah is a fully-automatic, mid-size RACING STYLE ATV. This great ATV has many upgraded features from the previous versions, starting with the new 125cc four-stroke engine. The new Tao motors are built like tanks. With the proper maintenance, they will keep on going and going and going. The upgraded new large 19-inch front and 18-inch rear with AGRESSIVE tires are EXACTLY what you need to get through ANY terrain in front of you. Sleek chrome alloy rims combine with the 8.4 HP engine. Riders will have no problem conquering the track or off-road fun. The upgraded shocks and matching painted frame make this a comfortable and sturdy ride. The electric start and lighted display indicating the gear, running hour meter and a reverse gear, make THIS ATV extremely easy to operate for riders of every level. The max speed on this vehicle is 35 mph, but with the parental speed limiter, this vehicle can be governed down to a safe max speed of 5mph. The seat height is 26 inches from the ground and 15 inches from the foot-rest to the seat are 21 inches long / resulting in a great family size ATV that will fit all different size riders and skill levels. The all-new Cheetah’s engine has no problem pulling a grown adult. Nor does it have any issues stopping with the front drum brakes and rear disc brakes. This one has a Bobcat lable, but looks just like a Cheetah. The cyclinder has 120cm³ on the left side. Its a no start, clicks only. Customer says carb replaced, ran wide open. So.. Im here to fix the carb, put it together correctly and I guess test starter. Going to need power source probably depending on whats the matter with the battery. He had it on a charger all day and no crank. Though, I didn't make sure all safety switches (brake) (on) (N) were set. Gas is old.. little thing has 86 hrs on it and its super clean.
The crank case vent into the back of the air filter is odd. There a better way for that or is it normal?

Brake, Neutral, Key on, wrist band plugged in, the on off doesn't seem to matter because when I hit start.. Click* pretty feisty click too. all lights gauges illuminate brightly. Put it in drive and rolled it forward turning motor past compression, nice compression too. Motor not locked up. Starter no turn. Guess it's time to investigate the ole starter.

Great quad bought on for my 8 year old my cousin who is around 160 was doing donuts on it and I’m 260 took it out for a spin no donuts but enough power to take me anywhere at a cool 25mph but that’s due to my weight my kid took it into a ditch got it covered in mud pulled it out with my car and started right up washed it down and was up and running so far can’t complain solid tank perfect for kids
But can we remove the governor?
