You said Courtney (Spiritbox's singer) was monochromatic, well there's another female singer in the band Monochromatic Black, they're a bit more extreme, but still pretty awesome.

It’s cool, they’re called Spiritbox because they’re really into the paranormal, and they incorporate audio of a spirit box scanning radio frequencies for ghosts in their songs. I haven't heard any released track from IR that I don't enjoy. Those are great. IMO, Orphan Soul would be a great starting point. It seems pretty representative and the bittersweet theme is really well executed.

Spirit box is a very good band! I know a band that is similar in theme. They are Ice Nine Kills and they have songs based on the most famous horror movies. I really like their song "communion of the cursed". And I know a band the sounds similar to spiritbox and that is Vintersea. Vintersea also has a really amazing female vocalist(I actually prefer Avienne over Courtney) and the band is very prog-y like Spiritbox. Their best song is "Befallen"

So, the fact that they have cleans and growls in their songs doesn’t mean that they are trying to copycat Jinjer, their music is quite different to say some. Even Eugene listens to them and even recommended them in an interview last year I think.
I had to watch it again :) And then, another idea for a something new episode came to my mind. I am sorry that I am posting so many different something new ideas. But this one came because you talked about your red themed insta post and how the thumbnail of "Rule of nines" attracts you. There is an artist by the name of Chelsea Wolfe who is an absolute godess. She has two completely red themed videos. She always does (extremly different) dark stuff, just do a picture search on google with her name. She does acoustic, electronic and rock music and sometimes combines all of that. I don't want you to react to that video as an introduction because she is depicting herself and others as strippers in a very sexualized way in that video. And not to the other because I feel it is too heavy as an introduction video. Maybe later. Instead, there are two introduction possibilities: I recommend you to react to her video "The Culling" The music and the video are amazingly beautiful. Pefect cinematography. Like in the "Blessed Be" video from Spiritbox. It takes several minutes to build up, too, as you like it. And it is perfect as an introduction which shows a certain spectrum of what Chelsea Wolfe is and does. The other option is a fan music video which has been done for a song of her that has no video. It is made with scenes from a horror movie. You will love that video, I'd bet on that ;) The name: "I Let Love In (Nick Cave Cover)" uploaded by "Mikolaj Mix".
