I owned a fabric store for years and I sold the long fur, called gorilla fur. It often got flattened on the fabric tables smashed between other bolts of fur. We'd brush it up with wire dog brushes. It will lose fibers/fur/hair as you brush so you go slowly and we'd even spray hair detangler on it if matted.

A lot of the platform shoes look like from the late 70’s the disco era, which I graduated in 78’ and loved that time! I didn’t wear super high platforms like those but I’m sure I had something lower! Haha. I really liked the black platforms I feel like those would be so cool with some wild pants with big flares on them!
