Well in Brazil this was 25 years ago FA training was for about 5 months and you had to spend 1 whole day in the jungle and there you and your group had to learn how to make fire without matches or lighter yea very intense then you had to kill a chicken and cook it learn to use a compass and make tents from tree branches

I just got a CJO a with JetBlue!
I just finished my video interview for UA. At the end of it, he asked me if I had any question. I asked about relocation and he said, “when you come to Houston for the face to face interview you will be able to choose your base”, “Am I going to Houston?, I asked. He smile and said yes, “you will receive an email in 2-3 days with a link to select a date”
Did I pass? I still not sure. Did I misunderstand? Is this really happening?

I'm considering being a flight attendant after I retire as s public school teacher. I actually came up with a pretty good answer to the question, & repeated it out loud to myself. I wonder if it's a sign of the future to come!

Hi Abby, I am 50 and interviewing for 2 speaker positions (Italian and Czech) with UA in Houston in 4 days.
I do speak fluently all languages but have an accent that becomes stronger when I am nervous. I really hope I'll get a CJO. What's really hard is whenever you get a "Thanks but no thanks" you don't know why, so I'll never know if it's my age, my accent, or if they have to fulfill a quota. I am very hopeful. 🙏
What DO you do if intoxicated passenger asks for another drink?
Kindly say you can’t serve them anymore drinks at the moment and offer them a snack, water, coffee or soda instead
@@lindsaykazan, I was a flight attendant at TWA for many years. We were trained to say jee. It looks like you had too many, and we want you to be very sharp in the UNLIKELY event we have to evacuate. However, I'll see what I can do just for this one time. When in the galley, we used the float method. Mix the requested drink only with the mixer, straight on the rocks. Fill only halfway with the requested mix. Then, pour a cape full of the asked-for liquor directly on top of the mix. Please take it to the PAX immediately so the liquor won't fall to the bottom or become diluted. It really works when they sip. Remember, your attitude and disposition have much to do with everything you do on and off the aircraft. Also, you're not on the aircraft as a policeman. You're there for the safety and comfort of your PAX. I hope this helps.
