It wasn't the business that filed for bankruptcy, it was the state social insurances for employees that were not being paid by the business. The employee salaries are secure until end of January, the insolvency process kicks off February 1st.
Windhorst is a money launderer and this was always going to happen. He was involved in moving the iMBD billions around for the people who stole the fund.
No one can manufacturer in Germany as electric rates are more than 2X those in the United States. It is just a question of time till Mercedes, VW, and BMW close.
Energy prices have been much higher in Germany than in the US for decades. This didn't stop German car manufactures to be much more sucessfull than the American.
