Some of the biggest jacks are offshore, got into a school commercial king fishing 60 miles out and the smallest jacks were pushing 40lbs.

We get some monsters here off the beach- don’t often see them here that far offshore unless it’s near Louisiana. 0-25miles is normally max here

FCL Epi Pop 220 or 190 is a great popper, nomad chug normis, rapala xplode 130
65 or 80lb braid to 100-150lb fluro leader (Fg knot to connect) and a uni knot to the popper
