Brilliant Maria!!!! I need to start getting my orchids organised with one of those screens. Great to see some DIY ways to hang them. Love your energy in your videos. Take care always.
...but of course...after you asked about it. I was really dumbfounded that I left it out because majority of us grow in terra-cotta pots and they can be tricky when it comes to finding ways to hang them up. So thank you for asking a very valid question as others also wanted to know and bringing it to my attention. So you my friend are a pretty awesome dude yourself!!! HAPPY GROWING! :)
Are u sure the wired hangers can actually hold the weight of the concrete pots with the plants and soil inside ? U should do a video to demonstrate this...
Totally coolamondo!!!! LOL! :) It was nice seeing you on the chat the other day...unfortunately my phone died out on me....I am trying to do a live chat tomorrow...hopefully we'll get better reception.
YEeooow! First comment! 😁✌️ I need to watch this. The other video on the wire “hooking” was very helpful. Just went to the flea market last weekend, bought a few pieces of crazy shaped driftwood, wired it up, hangs and stays put! Question for you... would an orchid do well wired to a large piece of “pine bark mulch” (ya know, you see it Home Depot as well as the cypress mulch)? Some of the pieces of pine back are like 8” X 4-5”! Certainly big enough, and I can be gentle with it, I just don’t know if the acidity would be too much or too little... or something else like that. What do you think? Thanks Maria! You’re channel is awesome 👏 😁😚👍😎
YAAAAAAAAAAY YOU ARE FIRST PLACE!!! YOU'RE A WINNER!!! ...but you already knew that! :) I am so happy that you were able to go on a flea market hunting adventure and scored some nice pieces of drift wood! AWESOME and CONGRATS! ...now as far as using pine and cypress mulch for orchids...I have heard that many growers do use it for orchids because it is more affordable. I have also heard that it has a shorter lifespan and has a tendency to break down quicker than a bark media mix for orchids. So you may have to repot more often. The decision is really up to you but if you do decide to do it...I would suggest first that you only use it on a couple and see how it does for a couple of months before you take that leap and convert all of your orchids. Thank you so much for watching and for your very kind comment. I really do appreciate it! HAPPY GROWING DEAR FRIEND! :)
I remember last summer I was watching this video trying to hang my hoyas that were in terracotta pots. Well, I had less success than you and my hangers are a bit funky, but this helped me a lot
Gurl! It's like you read my mind! I certainly learned from your first m video, but dang now I have it all happening for all my pots.... THANKS so much !
HA HA HA!!!! THAT IS SOOOOOOO AWESOME!!! I AM SO HAPPY THAT MY VIDEOS HAVE BEEN ABLE HELP IN YOUR ORCHID JOURNEY!!! HAPPY HAPPY GROWING!!! STAU AWESOME MY FRIEND! :)
Ha ha! I guess some words become comfort or filler words...you don't "actually" know that you are using them. I have found that when the camera is on...you never know what will come out...you just hope it's understandable and relatable in some way. LOL! Thanks for watching and wishing you the absolute best in your growing adventures! HAPPY GROWING!
