Jay, many thanks to your channel and reviews. We took the delivery of our first pair of Dan D'Agostino amplifiers two weeks ago. Your reviews definitely gave us the confidence that the Momentum would be the right amplifiers for us. We wanted to upgrade our X600.8’s while we didn’t want to go through the trial and error. We just wanted a new amplifiers that would sound good in our system. And the Momentum just did exactly that. They are wonderful! Your channel and your comments provided a lot of value to us, really appreciate your efforts!

I especially appreciate your efforts to cherrish the pros and cons of both amplifieres!
I also found it highly interesting that the excellence which Dan Agustino Designs were famous for in earlier decades with pure class A amplifiers (absolute control and grip, masculie attributes, visceral impact) meanwhile are surpassed by other brands. Obviously, the preferences of Dan Agustino have changed considerably!

The truth is that acustic conditions at exhibitions are not suitable at all to fairly judge components, and most of us do not have the ressources to afford such components...
I only wished that you tube representations would be adequate to adequately share the sound qualities you are prevelidged to experience!

Very good and honest review 👍🏼. My initial decision was right then (for the Mephisto). But I am truly happy and fully satisfied with my Pass Labs Mono‘s and my system altogether.
I wonder how the “D’Agostino Relentless” compares to the Gryphon?

Momentum looks really high end. Hi tech steam punk. As a bonus it sounds good as well. Again nice Review! The last check box at USD 65k hardest to overcome, hahaha. Based on description the amp sounds smoooith.... On mephisto facts Vs fiction means you can't use tubes as it's fiction, hehehe. I love tubes in the recording playback chain without it Music is lifeless and unnatural....
