  • Ed Leigh's Guide to Avoriaz - Ed has spent the best part of 30 years in the Alps, you could even class Ed as an all round mountain local. But however you look at it, he has an absolute wealth of knowledge and experience in heaps of resorts to share with you.
From the best of the local slopes and where to head when the weather draws in to the best coffee stops, long lunch spots and apres ski haunts both on and off the mountains.
This is Ed Leigh's guide to Avoriaz.

The cable car is included in the Portes du Soleil lift pass yes. Also from Paris we'd recommend the TGV to Thonon-les-Bains or Cluses and hop on the bus or a taxi from there (45 mins ish) - see the timetable and a little more info here - www.seeavoriaz.com/buses

hey be better if you actually skied to these places , especially the restaurants so we could see them. and to the Lindarets bowl you talk about, instead of just you talking about it. i mean your right there. why not show it ?
