my mom got me this for one of my early birthday presents, as well as the lego creator beach house set. and they were so fun to put together. love my mom so much ♥
@@SkyKid002 Creator isn't aimed at "kids", it's aimed at BUILDERS. It contains all different difficulty levels and design tones, encompasses all different sizes and prices-- it is aimed squarely at the Lego hobbyist. There is no excuse, we want full buildings. Wanna get in there and play? Lego makes all different styles of hinge and connection systems.

Lego offers all the parts to make them complete with the ability to get in and play, so take the sets designed for hobbyists/general builders and enjoy the hobby by building what you want from the available pieces. Thats the whole spirit behind the company anyways. Use your bricks and modify/complete something thats meant as a jumping off point... I stand on what I said and if you and OP want complete buildings... they have them available as well as these. You dont go to the store and buy apples then get mad you dont have oranges when they were right next to the apples at the store...
I think you are missing the point of Lego as a whole. Dude I'm sure you have spare Lego maybe use your imagination and complete the set to your liking. Isn't that what draws us all to this fantastic hobby in the first place? We tend to forget that Lego is a toy. The entire point is to use your imagination.
@@thatfunkymonkey That is what Lego USED to be. They're in the modeling and franchising business, now. Action figures and shelf displays THAT YOU HAPPEN TO ASSEMBLE YOURSELF. The only free parts kits now are sold to adults as nostalgia, and even those are seperated into their own themes. Why am I explaining this to anyone who's been to a store in the last 25 years...?
Not a bad build 3 in 1 i buy 3 with the remaining parts from all 3 plus a few others i was able to build a second camper. It's not exact ehh it'll suffice.I didn't put all the garbage on top doesn't need it.
I think those are paddle boards not kayaks on top of the camper and the cherry for the crab is cool 🍒 🦀 /edit: do you have a video about the white building thats by the home alone/simpson houses? Im assuming its a MOC but like what is it?
I know they made a similar VW bus set through the creator line a few years back but I didn't get it and wish I had. I think I'll get this one but look for a discount cause $50 is a bit to much for this
I have that one found it on Amazon. It’s the exact same color combo paddle board on top this one just adds the beach changing and bathrooms. Literally exact
@@paulscibetta2360 Then you don't have that one. That one came with a barbecue grill, two folding chairs, an umbrella, and I THINK one or two MINIFIGURE SIZE SURFBOARDS on the roof. If memory serves, the roof is so large and studded that you can set them up barbecuing ON THE ROOF without actually removing anything. And aside from accessories, this van does a LOT different. No engine compartment on the original, table set up was totally different, no tiled floor, bedding area was less detailed, but had a shallow storage area underneath it. Highly similar set while also doing a lot of things different, and the addition of two building stands PLUS a tree is actually a pretty big deal. They are NOT "the same set" and you need to get over yourself.

I do prefer the classic Sunshine Surfer Van, which evidently inspired this set. It uses far less pieces in the main vehicle, but I think the interior of it is way more focused and condensed compared to this new iteration. Also, since it seems to be a bit smaller that its younger brother, I feel it scales better for use in cities and dioramas.

The 3-in-1 is my favorite theme (as a whole). I really like the creativity that goes into them. Even as an AFOL, I get inspired when I build these.

I don’t like how Lego does only facades.I want Lego to start doing complete houses like the old days .
They do make complete houses but in the more "adult" themes. The sets aimed at children are more for play than display.

I bought the set. I really like it, especially the interior of the van. The only downside is that the van is smaller than I expected.

if you look the guy minifigure logo it reminds me of LEGO Paradisa lego set. it give that vibe.
