Lead by Johnny Thunder! Lol. I just got his little ATV set and it is awesome. I just did an upgraded camera kit for him and put a large crate on the back of his ATV. He is the star this year for me.
I seen few other sets that did the same, each included a animal on a monitor or tv screen nodding to the newer Jungle sets. I forgot which they are but do remember the Tiger, Panther and Crock stickers and one other animal, so as total now at least there is 5 that I noticed.
The wand boxes are what stops the doors from going beyond flat, as I was building it without studs I wondered what they were doing and pleasantly surprised with the build there! Pretty cool stuff!
Anyone notice that they didn’t include a license plate sticker that has the sets number on it. They did it with the previous sets and wish they kept with the continuity. It’s just a fun easter egg for camper van collecting!
So I just reordered the previous holiday camper van which retailed for $20 (i had got it for my kids but wanted it for me before it retires) and it has 190 pcs. This set for $10 more has about 200 more pcs. Not bad and so much more specious. I love the other but my point is you are not losing value at all here. I was very excited to pick this one up (its in the mail).
I honestly think that this set is fantastic in every way. Incredibly detailed (just look at the front of it) and packed full of features as well. Perhaps it needed just an extra figure included.
I like this set. The design of the van is good, and it's a realistic scale with the figures. I've always been fond of vehicles that were also living spaces.
Yeah I am surprised it's 6 wide and fits 2 figs. Often they oversize the vehicles and STILL barely can fit one fig inside or just make those tiny clown cars .... So this one is a win.
I bought the last camper van set as I was returning to Lego as an adult fan after basically a decade or so. I loved that set a lot and was still one of my favourite ones. This looks like a perfect set to me.
I bought that same set for my kids about 3 years ago and it was my way of getting back into Lego also. Because my kids took that set to pieces, I just bought another a day ago. Looking forward to this set also. Not everybody in my little Lego city has a house, lol. I bet these campers can be converted into tiny homes.
As a kid I had plenty of holiday sets, actually still own them but they are in storage. The bigger holiday set with the camper and boat 1472. The tiny yellow holiday home 6592. But also the 6694 car with caravan and the huge camper 6351 with boat. All great sets. Lego always had great campers and caravan sets. 60283 is indeed a great set. Love the look of it. The design of the last few caravans and campers is really great. A lot of details and you can make a really nice camping site if you want with multiple of these.
This is new: a set that looks good and isnt overpriced. Ok, not entirely fair, because there are more quite recent examples of good decent priced sets, but it is rare.
It is weird that I think the little campfire looks great? This is a great little set I think. It was on my radar but not my immediate January purchase list.
This is a $30 set!? I saw it and I thought it must be at least $40, considering Speed Champions are something like $27 now. I agree, this seems like a good value. It’s a very cute set too, not one I think I’ll be picking up, but I could definitely see giving one as a gift to my more outdoorsy friends who are also Lego fans.
I have a friend who is very much a camper-van person, and she also resembles that minifig with the guitar, so that was weird. She should probably purchase this set.
Moving to the States gave me a love for camping (y,all do it well!) so i definitely want this to go in my camper collection. I don’t like the front but I love everything else especially the people in this set and the inclusion of a loo. 😂
I really like the new 4x6 sunroof piece with the window insert. What are those pieces on the wheels, though? They look like smaller than a 2x2 round jumper
They use different dishes and saucers as wheelcaps on the single stud thats on the wheel. Same with the donut van. It gives a lot of nice detail with sets.
This is a must buy for me, but I'll definitely mod it because I think it has enough space to make the interior layout the same as most modern European style camper vans.
This looks great and will make a great birthday gift for my brother in law as he and my sister had their first baby in 2024 and both borrow his parents’ camper van for holidays sometimes.
This review was a pleasant surprise. A good set, I think the toilet area could also be used as a shower room. Great review as always! Many thanks for your continuing uploads as always Jang.
The back panel on each side really needed a sticker to continue to mountain, or maybe just an extra windows. The huge white blank blobs take something away. Fire pit pieces definitely should have been incorporated in some interior details, or just exchanged those parts for more prints. Pretty decent set tho.
That's a very nice camper van that could probably complement the one I have from several years ago very well. This one has more stuff on the inside, with the bathroom and kitchen.
It seems like it's been a long time since I last went on a picnic. Thanks to this video, it reminded me of the trips from the past. I've been so busy with work."
Although this isn't my kind of set, I still really like this, it actually reminds me of the 31079 Sunshine Surfer Van set, the Creator 3-in-1 set from seven years ago which retailed for the same price (at the time, as $30 back in 2018 is certainly not $30 today!), was similarly sized and even had a similar number of parts. So this new set is a nice present day version of that older set, still a good size, good price and playable enough. I do have to agree that this new set is a mixed bag in its detail; looks great on the outside but a very mixed bag with the interior which is great in the first half and very plain in the back half. I like the sleeping area with bunk beds and a cot but it's very basic looking. But it is a 6+ set, I have to remember. That's really the only drawback, the older set had more attention to detail to it as there were more nicely built up accessories in that set like the custom made deck chairs and custom made barbeque grill, as well as a parasol, surfboard, ottoman bed, folding table and removable table/platter/wine glass combo. Although it was an 8+ set and not a City set.
Don't like they way they mixed prints and stickers on the side panels. I usually skip all stickers, can't do it n this case where the prints and stickers form one contiguous design.
I collected all camper vans and roulotte from the city line since 2009 when they started and I am really wondering how they can top this in a few years because this looks amazing and leagues better than the previous ones!
Lego should cap it at this amount of pieces for campers. It is already overengineered, though I'm very happy with the grade of details. And they finally gave us bunk beds! Caravan trailer next time, Lego?
I have already ordered it (I found a good deal on one of our Czech toy e-shop) , btw I love RVs , especially the off-road ones (like unimog for example) I myself for example remade lego 60222 snowmobile(I separated the plow, instead of it I put a winch and I added a living unit) and I also remade lego city 60402 monsters truck into a RV
Thank you for the review again. I am torn on this one. I like the set, i like the shape, like the content of the van, but i am worried where this set should fit in with the city theme?? It is way too big to put along our old 4 wide city vehicles, but i have to let that go and think about city as being 6 studs wide, then this is still too big. Not against cars but against lorries it is way oversized. So to me this is a solution for the inflation problem, where 20 dollar sets had to shrink that much in piece count they became uninteresting, and 25 dollar is apparently not possible? So they grew the set and the price. Which gives the problem of this not being city. Anyone else have these feelings?? Ow and edit: for once i agree on price being reasonable here. This set ticks a lot of boxes, just where to fit it in.
I mean, the croissant is just ginormous. Just imagine if it was real, like the "same" size but for us, Humans. 🙂 It would sustain two people for an entire day. 😀
Nice build that I will implement ideas from in designing a bigger LEGO ambulance. All the designs they have are euro centered, especially more like the UK. Nothing wrong with that but her in the US our ambulances are bigger 😂
Hey Jang is there any chance you will review Onyx Cinder since the series is finaly released and receiving a lot of praise? I think many people will want to see review of it now and in couple of weeks when the season ends.
Wow, it's truly impressive that a multi-billion-dollar company can't afford to include a few extra printed pieces at this price and has to resort to stickers instead.
Something i hadnt considered before is that the speed champions designer might have been brought over to City because whoever is responsible for directing the City team wanted to go more in the Speed Champions direction for enhanced vehicle realism. The fact that the improvement was so clear even though some sets had been developed with the new style before the SC designer was brought on board really speaks to the talent of the City designers and the great leadership taking them there
Another camper van and too many at that. They could make an entire sub theme easily for other types of RVs but they refuse to do it for whatever reason. They still have yet to make a toy hauler, large class A motor home, a travel trailer that’s not tiny, a truck camper, tent trailer ect. Took them several decades to make the first fifth wheel type trailer which was great but still also very small as well as the first and only class c size creator motor home. This one is great but again the lack of variety is pitiful. To be fair I’m an Rv technician and camper vans are by far the worst to repair so much so you couldn’t give me an actual one so some of my distaste comes from that admittedly.
I got the set today and just built it. Overall a decent experience and no crazy difficult stickers, though if you put any on crooked it's really noticeable. I found it puzzling that there were no license plate stickers on this one (all the other campers have them in the city line). The interior is good, but I wish it had maybe come with a bicycle or something that clipped onto the back. I agree with Jang in that I feel like it's missing some accessories.
I think the outgoing Holiday camper van is better. Smaller (and cheaper) but same amount of detail/play value. Unfortunate, this just reeks of creating a larger profit margin set by Lego.
If I’m not wrong, that TV is playing the nature documentary recorded by the jungle expedition crew! Nice use of continuity.
Lead by Johnny Thunder! Lol. I just got his little ATV set and it is awesome. I just did an upgraded camera kit for him and put a large crate on the back of his ATV. He is the star this year for me.

I forgot which they are but do remember the Tiger, Panther and Crock stickers and one other animal, so as total now at least there is 5 that I noticed.
They were filming a tiger in 60426, 60437 is the only one with adult gorillas
The wand boxes are what stops the doors from going beyond flat, as I was building it without studs I wondered what they were doing and pleasantly surprised with the build there! Pretty cool stuff!
This is a nice fit next to the A-frame cabin
Glad to see City's worth getting back into again.
Not even the UCS Razor Crest has a toilet seat.
As a real motorhome owner, I will be buying this for the kids to build on our next rainy day camping
They even have battery and engine access, for that authentic "trying to jumpstart the dead campervan in the middle of a rainy field" experience!
Probably the most compact Camper Van that Lego has ever made, it even got a toilet!
Two Coffee Mugs on the dashboard!
Definitely the biggest camper ever
Needs to be said: thank you Jang for highlighting the more affordable range of Lego sets and providing a quality review as always.
Agreed!
Hats off to the designers!! A great build which contains most basic amenities for a cozy home on wheels!
Anyone notice that they didn’t include a license plate sticker that has the sets number on it. They did it with the previous sets and wish they kept with the continuity. It’s just a fun easter egg for camper van collecting!
Excelent point about not being rude to designers. Nothing is made in a vacum every thing is co-operative at some level when making a product.
Ah, yes, the opening hood to see the "engine".
little details like that are enjoyable.
Strongly disliked that front end until it opened. And then all was forgiven.
Thanks for the review!
So I just reordered the previous holiday camper van which retailed for $20 (i had got it for my kids but wanted it for me before it retires) and it has 190 pcs. I will always get a couple of these size city sets every year, even if I’m taking a break from lego…they never disappoint.
Now, this is an amazing set. Had I an area for camping this would go there.
This is new: a set that looks good and isnt overpriced. Ok, not entirely fair, because there are more quite recent examples of good decent priced sets, but it is rare.
I've deduced that LEGO designers clearly believe cars are mug-powered. Every car has to have one!
I loved the last camper van and this looks like an awesome continuation of that.
Loving the slidingdoor idea! 😂
Pretty nice. Though that area above the cab would totally be another sleeping area
It is weird that I think the little campfire looks great?
This is a great little set I think. It was on my radar but not my immediate January purchase list.
Interesting Sliding Door Technique
Hadn't thought of using those hinge parts on top instead of the usual door rail parts.
I was just about to get the 60283 model, but stumbled upon this model. The design of the camper van in this is way better than the previous.
I thought I might have enough campervans already, but that skylight hit right in the nostalgic feels, so it's now a must. Great review as always 😊
Really nice set! I had set 7639 as a kid and the camper builds have always stuck with me since.
I do really like the design of the van itself, could be a cool moc to make a non camper version
Awesome city camper van nice size great detail great review jang 👍
I have a friend who is very much a camper-van person, and she also resembles that minifig with the guitar, so that was weird. She should probably purchase this set.
I picked this up day one, loved the build. So glad you’re doing a review! Loved this thing!
Moving to the States gave me a love for camping (y,all do it well!) so i definitely want this to go in my camper collection. I don’t like the front but I love everything else especially the people in this set and the inclusion of a loo. 😂
Great video. I really like this camper van. I had one as a kid so it hits all of those good feels. 😊
The best Lego City set of the year! ❤😊
Very cute city playset at a reasonable price. Thx for showing it to us!
I really like the new 4x6 sunroof piece with the window insert. What are those pieces on the wheels, though? They look like smaller than a 2x2 round jumper
Piece 3576, it's a saucer
@@leetri Thank you!
They use different dishes and saucers as wheelcaps on the single stud thats on the wheel. Same with the donut van. It gives a lot of nice detail with sets.

This looks great and will make a great birthday gift for my brother in law as he and my sister had their first baby in 2024 and both borrow his parents’ camper van for holidays sometimes.
More prints instead of stickers, better injection points, and Lego will really be back!
The sunroof! I am so happy to see that back.
This review was a pleasant surprise. A good set, I think the toilet area could also be used as a shower room. Great review as always! Many thanks for your continuing uploads as always Jang.

I enjoyed the building experience and the amount of pieces that you get for the price, plus I got it on sale, so that’s really nice.
It seems like it's been a long time since I last went on a picnic. Thanks to this video, it reminded me of the trips from the past. I've been so busy with work."
Great set and great continuation of the family :D
This is really cool. I had the 2013 one as a kid and just seeing how much they've evolved over a decade is brilliant.
Looks really good. I wonder why Lego used stickers, caus in the new Donut Truck, which is cheaper, all tiles are printed. 🤔
Nice Set, cool shiny guitar, stickers- Red Looks fine, White is very Visible difference.
25€ for lego i would say, nice Set
What a lovely little set. But yes, just a few little details more might have been great. Things for the family to interact with.
This one's definitely a winner for me. Hope to get it soon.😊
That pronunciation of croissant was just French chef's kiss
Although this isn't my kind of set, I still really like this, it actually reminds me of the 31079 Sunshine Surfer Van set, the Creator 3-in-1 set from seven years ago which retailed for the same price (at the time, as $30 back in 2018 is certainly not $30 today!), was similarly sized and even had a similar number of parts.

Nice basic build. Kind of refreshing actually.
But I really like the campfire 🔥.it makes it more fun.
I love the camper sets
Now this... I like this. A wonderful little City set.
If I didn't already have the previous City Camper Van I would probably get this one.
I like this but I’m not sold on the graphic design used on the van sides.
It reminds me of the rental campers that people rent for summer trips.
It’s a nice version! I do wish they would do more details as they do with the Lego friends line
Great for Walmart parking lot camping, I guess. As long as the entrance/exit is street level, so you don't get stuck.
If it that feature of 2021 camper it will become mega cool
Cool set with nice features.
Wonderful set!
Lego should cap it at this amount of pieces for campers. It is already overengineered, though I'm very happy with the grade of details. And they finally gave us bunk beds! Caravan trailer next time, Lego?
Love your city reviews
Can someone tell me if the father was the abby in the previous camper van?
I have already ordered it (I found a good deal on one of our Czech toy e-shop) , btw I love RVs , especially the off-road ones (like unimog for example) I myself for example remade lego 60222 snowmobile(I separated the plow, instead of it I put a winch and I added a living unit) and I also remade lego city 60402 monsters truck into a RV

This looks pretty great.
It's a bummer those aren't prints on the side though.
I mean, the croissant is just ginormous. Just imagine if it was real, like the "same" size but for us, Humans. 🙂
It would sustain two people for an entire day. 😀
Is that an electric RV?
I like this! Although the very front bugs me.
Nice build that I will implement ideas from in designing a bigger LEGO ambulance. All the designs they have are euro centered, especially more like the UK. Nothing wrong with that but her in the US our ambulances are bigger 😂
I’m for sure getting this one
I still wait for Lego to top 31079 Sunshine Surfer Van, one of my all-time favourite sets, but this one is pretty good for its price.
I like the front design, but are we at 8 studs with City vehicles now?
I don't really buy city but this is nice
Those mountain graphics on the sides remind me of many campers id see back in the 90's.
Thanks for the review.
Honestly for a Lego city set, it’s really decked out!
Personal preference, the white should have been tan. That new curved tile is a moc dreams. Need it in black and red. Good review btw.
Hey Jang is there any chance you will review Onyx Cinder since the series is finaly released and receiving a lot of praise? I think many people will want to see review of it now and in couple of weeks when the season ends.
we've hit 8 wide campers now. We’re hitting the speed champions scale for LEGO city. I don’t like that
This thing looks like it could be electric - I love it!!
That would b a good body for an ambulance
Wow, it's truly impressive that a multi-billion-dollar company can't afford to include a few extra printed pieces at this price and has to resort to stickers instead.
Is that camper van powered by Pepsi ?
i stay with the old set 60057 wich is way better

This makes another fine addition to a campsite display or diorama.
However, it seems to be lacking in extra things to have at a campsite.
I got the set today and just built it. Overall a decent experience and no crazy difficult stickers, though if you put any on crooked it's really noticeable. I found it puzzling that there were no license plate stickers on this one (all the other campers have them in the city line).
