    Good work bro. Just have one suggestion next time when measuring the voltage and current output you can use a signal generator app so that you can play a constant signal like 40hz or 50hz your voltage won't flactuate kabisa and it will be easy to get your voltage and current.

    BRO NICE JOB HOWEVER YOUR CONCLUSION IS MISLEADING... WE WERE TESTING THE BASS OUTPUT BUT IN YOUR CONCLUSION YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT TRANSFORMER.... i feel it's misleading coz you should have mentioned each amp had its manufacturer's power input rating

      If you test the green board with a genuine toroidal transformer you'll get better power output. Most of these box transformer are less efficient, I've seen several cases of them blowing up

    I think, my fan is connected directly to the motherboard. It makes alot of noise, also heard through the mids. How do I solve that??
    Also if i cut the fan cable, will there be a problem??

    • @emmanutechnician
      @emmanutechnician  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did a video on that, look for external 7v to 9v, and another bigger fan, they dont make noise. Distortion is caused by ground issues

    Good stuff. A quick question though. What can I do to get clearer bass? The midrange is perfect but the bass is rough with noisy vibrations, (like in your test) Using an 8 inch, 4ohm speaker. Any ideas?

    • @emmanutechnician

      Okay, if possible you can add a bass preamp, or equalizer. You will be able change bass gain and frequency and make it sound the way you want

    Measure the voltage with no load since when connected with a speaker there is a voltage drop.Around 30v with no load
    Current you measure with load. Around 3amps.
    Power of 90watts max,45 RMS

      Yes it can power, but make sure the rms of the subwoofer is not much. Mostly it works with Kenwood 3010, the yellow sony explod and mobile authority.

    What is the cause of distortion ?

    • @emmanutechnician
      @emmanutechnician  ปีที่แล้ว

      Several factors
      1. The fans, they need separate power, not from the amp board
      2. These box transformers have electromagnetic effect which interfere with audio signals. If possible use toroidal transformer.
      3. Lack of earthing.

      Very simple, get 12 volts from 7812 regulator, that powers the fan, if it's distorting, use go tv adapter and fix it inside the box.
      Take left, right and ground signal to the amplifier inputs

    Great technical knowledge bro and excellent video. We're tired of the bogus videos from other 'fundis'.
    As a 'fundi' myself, who likes drawing the amplifier from scratch, I wish to point out that 2ohms woofer on these amplifier is not safe for the two output power transistors.
    In your case the two ohms speaker wishes to pull about 145watts from that amp . This is from:
    -Power= V²/R
    Power =17²volts/2ohms.
    The current pulled by the 2ohms speaker will be given by
    POWER= V × I
    I= 145w/17volts
    Current will be about 9amps. Which is stressing the transistors and that specific power transformer. (It will overheat because it's rated for 120VoltAmps and melt)
    4ohms speakers are the best for this amp for they will pull about 70watts only at their maximum.
