- Marvin the cat is absolutely obsessed with water. Any time his mom, Sara, starts a shower or a draws a bath, Marvin is front and center and ready to steal it for himself. After seeing how much he loves bathtime, Sara decided to give Marvin the best spa day his furry little heart could imagine with bathtub toys, rose petals, kitty wine, and post bath snuggles!

I lived in a house shared by 5 adults and we had a "family" cat that INSISTED on sitting in the corner of the shower EVERY time any shower was taken. If you locked him out he would sit outside the door and cry and reach under the door.

There’s something so cute about how relaxed he is about the whole thing. He’s not going crazy with the toys or splashing around. It’s so wholesome 🥺
Some lions hunt through the swamps. They just walk right in it. A little lake wading is worth a good meal. Cranberry growers think so too. So yeah, for some cats it's no big deal

Thirty years ago, I was living with two cats that had different opinions on me taking a shower. PeeWee was very curious about the whole process, and would come into the tub on her own. She stayed in the far end of the tub, and I made sure that she didn't get a direct spray from the shower head. Meanwhile, Max was very concerned about my safety. He would tell me that I had been in there long enough, and to really get my attention, he would stand on the side of the tub, then reach up and push the cold shower curtain against me.
Max now reminds me of my pup who is terrified of water, who tells me when I'm done bathing.
Hearing the one cat's name was PeeWee, I thought the second one would've been called Herman.
I'm sure you miss them.
I had a cat named PeeWee too while growing up. My sister named her that because she would always pre everywhere lol.

To see a cat who loves the water so much, and an owner that just goes with it with so much zeal, is heartwarming!
Our 86 lb. Staffordshire terrier who lived to be 16, would get in the shower, any time, any place, with anyone! He loved the soap, the scrub, and especially the drying and snuggles. We never had to worry much about him smelling bad!

My cat Thomas likes to roll in wet grass, I'm sure the coolness feels good when it's hot outside. Other than that, he doesn't go for getting wet. When I'm done with a shower and sweep the curtain back, he's usually there watching but that's as far as it goes.
I love how she embraces his uniqueness and choose to make him a one day out of the week to make him a spa day with all of his toys and robe and kitty adult beverage 🥰🥰

A couple times each day, he cries and cries while perched on the side of the bathtub. My wife and I have learned that he expects us to toss a couple large cups of lukewarm water into the tub for him to wallow in. Cute to see another cat do this.

My cats only get in the tub AFTER my shower. Then you can hear them licking up the last drops of water from the faucet.
mine do the exact same thing, but they will LICK the REMAINING shower/bath water from the bottom of the tub

This was adorable! We had a bengal that loved water like this. Never did I think of pampering him like Sara, lol. I'm not a fan of baths and didn't realize there was so much you could play with. So many missed opportunities and laughs.

I'm not sure who is more spoiled you or your cat!!! 😻 With his long very bushy tail and heavily tufted ears 🐾he may have some Maine Coon in him (they love water) My Maine Coon loved water and would swim in the tub or play submarine. He loved making a mess with it. I never thought of swimming fish - cool idea to use toys! Your cat is wonderful and so are you for spoiling him! 😸🐾💕👣

A long time ago I had a kitty pool in the backyard, and one day I'm looking out the window and I see this cat put is 2 front feet in, a half hour later he had all four feet in. He was waving his paws at the Reflections in front of him in the water. It was the damnedest thing I've ever saw, of a cat that is.

I can’t remember how many times I’d be in the shower and I’d turn around and Dude (my big Maine Coon), would be sitting under the spigot (his spot) just watching me. Couldn’t help but laugh.

This is too cute!!! I had a cat that used to love jumping into the shower with me. Could never pick her up and take her near any running or still water. But as soon as the shower came on, she would be in the bathroom. And not too long after I stepped, there she was.

When I was a kid, we had a cat who would do his best to sneak into the shower with me or my dad. He loved water, and I think he really enjoyed being dried off with a towel after afterward.

I saved a kitty once and took it as a pet. We washed it in the river and since he was young he later on in life liked water.
