RISE...TSUYOSA Tsuyosa means strength for anyone who doesn't know. Glad the dubbing people respected its Japanese origins and added a Japanesey touch to the song with the 'tsuyosa'. Loved this.. :)
That's true, but I watched this show as a kid and tbh, at that time I would not like a "weird foreign language" song playing as the opening of my favorite "cartoon". The purpose of dubbing anime is to make them popular among the English speaking audiences. So that's why its a common trend to change the opening and ending songs to English as well, so that kids find them catchy. When I was a kid I didn't know what "tsuyosa" was and I just enjoyed the general beat of the song of course. But now, it makes more sense that they added a little Japanese touch to it without making the song lose its catchiness towards the English speaking audience. :)
@@dizzyizzy919 it aired on cartoon network which normally only allows 30 second intros so early on they had to do it like this though they did keep later intros the same as the japanese ones
This opening and ending are awesome. They're better than the first Japanese opening and ending theme cuz they get you more pumped up for the show. I used to love watching Naruto on the good ol' Toonami back in like 2006-2008. Those were the best times
Idk if this is a hot take. But this is a better first opening than the Japanese one. And I’m talking as someone who’s only recently watching Naruto (the uncut version)
Love the ending theme part those where the days where i watched on my big tv in the living room well it was only like 32 inch HD one lol XD But it was awsome :)

Sara Fatima
Love you for this.
Sara Fatima they could have respected its Japanese origins more by leaving it the same lol

Watching this in 2008 was epic. Words can not describe how awesome this has been. Can't believe it's been almost 14 years now NOSTALGIA!!!

Many things are better than the german opening.
