It´s not a plastic helmet which the cheapest are. On the homepage it says "Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) It is a new type of thermoplastic mix that is very light and also really impact resistant".
I bought evo pioneer adventure for my ATV last month..It costed approximately 160 dollars in Türkiye..I love it so much,it's a very handsome helmet❤️ nice video thank you dude
I did enjoy the video and it’s just what I want to replace “a helmet I don’t want to wreck” my off road helmets get very messy quickly. I have a Cardo intercom system. I’m curious to know if the LS2 Pioneer has dedicated speaker pockets?
I’ve been looking at the pioneer2, do you know what the differences are? I wonder is the quality of the shell any better. I’d be using it for touring do you think it would be too airy for the motorways? Cheers for the review, really well explained 👍
Hi, thanks for watching. I have also been looking at that helmet seems really good value. However the Pioneer that I have is quite noisy, I have not seen many reviews on the Pioneer 2 though. It's a very similar design though, might be a bit too noisy
Eh, flexing may not be bad. Energy absorption. It’s at what point they shatter that’s the issue. I just picked one of these up. I’ve been an avid HJC user for 20+ years. Local shop talked me into it.
I'm looking to replace my Caberg Xtrace and as i cant find them for sale now (at least my size) this is a contender. I would get the Bell MX9 mips but no internal sun visor and thats a must.
I can’t say this kind of helmet is for me, but you can’t argue about the value because it’s such a bargain 👏 Definitely a cheap but capable option for those wanting to do a bit of off-roading 🤘 Great detailed video mate. Hope you’re well 🤘
I just bought the same helmet in Large. My head circumference measures 59cm so it is a fairly snug fit. Just wondering what your measurement is to make you opt for the extra large?
I like what LS2 are doing with lids. Often less money but decent specs and looks. Sadly I've not got an LS2 shaped head so they never quite fit me which sucks. My AGV AX9 is still noisy at speed and that's far from budget. Neck curtain, ear plugs etc are needed for that too.
@@tomstc the latest atlas 4 is supposed to be more quiet than its predeccsors. Which one have you got? I saw Username Kate's red at a bike meet recently. I had no idea what it was til she told me. It looked spectacular. My boy has an LS2 but in his size there are many options but it fits him really well.
@Dynamo Tightstar the 4.0 is 100x better than the old 2.0 I had before!!!! It's the lid they should have made really, I really like RUROC stuff well happy with my 4.0
I have the same lid for pretty much exactly the same reasons. Only complaint from me is wind noise on the motorway other than that great lid for the money
I am wondering how you feel about this helmet now that you have had it for a while ? Also what is the ventilation like ? We get 30c+ summers and I need a helmet with lots of airflow.
Thanks for the comment Unfortunately, this was a super cheap price at the time I put this review up. Seems like the popular choice now so the price has jumped! The link in the description is still the cheapest via eBay, but it seems no stock
Iv just got the Nolan X70-2 adventure helmet and is great it was on offer £230 instead of £300 and the chin comes off so it can be a open face helmet to ..not tried the LS2 yet but may give them a look.
My biggest issue is the level for the internal visor will interfere with any communications system (sena, cardio) unit which gets mounted in that same location. Dreadfull...
You got that for a really good price there nearly double that now. I'm looking for a large and the cheapest ive found is around £100. If it was double what you paid would you still be happy with it?
@scott not in this price range or style, to be honest just get what fits your budget. Have you checked out www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/#/27929,0,0 you can order a few try on and send back for free
Looking at this helmet for the same purpose, and given you have the bike im after (well the 300 rally) could you do me a massive favour? Any chance you could measure the width of the widest part of the fairing which looks like the front edge corners that come past the forks when you get a chance? Its a tight squeeze where I need to store it and I cant find this measurement anywhere or even any bikes for sale nearby that I could go and measure, at the moment id be putting in an order for one that has a 6 month lead time and dont need even know if it will fit which is really holding me back. Cheers!
@@tomstc nice one cheers, was really hoping it would come in under 60 so that's good to hear, I'll have to measure again though to be sure as it's close. Very much appreciated 👍

Yeah I was lucky my head fitted the LS2, my usual helmet is RUROC that's a little bit noisy.
Thanks for commenting

What is color of this helmet as per LS2 website? I wish to choose the same color. Thanks
looks really good, curious bruh, can you use goggles without removing the visor? Like the O'Neal sierra 2?
Yes I'm pretty sure that you can
Yes, my friend has this and he uses goggles

It looks like the shield raises up enough to put some goggles on .
Yes it does
nice content, is there a slot for the comms speaker inside
Thanks, yes there is a dedicated communication unit for this helmet
How does it perform in heavy rain? Would water seap in through the vents?
On long journeys in the rain a bit gets in yes, but nothing too bad

What about to wear it with glasses? Is it still comfortable?
I don't wear glasses so unfortunately can't give a review on that
