I can’t wait to get one I’ve been in a wheelchair my whole life I’m 34 now really havnt been able to go anywhere I don’t even go out in my yard all that much cause afraid of tipping this for sure would be a life changer :)
@@rayjohnson4817 I'm pulling for you my brother... I suffer from seizures, I have epilepsy. I am a shut in myself... I do not drive vehicles for obvious reasons, a bicycle is out of the question as well, so a trike that can get me back out, to do my own shopping or to visit relatives would feed my soul... I do yardwork and shovel snow in the winter... it will be awhile before I can afford anything this nice, but we can dream can't we. Take care lil brother, I hope your dreams do come true, sooner than later!
@@joeows6537 it’s been awesome just hit 103.3 miles on Sunday, and next month I’ll been taking a trip out to Utah to Meet the crew at Utah Trikes , film a video or two and get some upgrades installed .
Oh yeah I’ve had many awesome adventures so far , a month from today I’m Actually heading out to Utah to meet up with the crew at Utah Trikes to ride with them , film some stuff , and get dome new mods done to Sherman ( my Rig )
I’m so stoked I just discovered that you guys are local to Thousand Oaks. My name is Pat and I live in Newbury Park and Dos Vientos Ranch. I’m a quadriplegic as of August 2019 and I’m in the middle of talking with Utah trucks about ordering one of these.
I'm so happy to see JRE and utah trikes did this. I had a trike from them when I saw the JRE video, and my first thought was these guys need to work together.
Keep on the lookout on both mine and Utah Trikes’ channels as I’ll be heading out there to film with them . In the meantime I’ll have another ride compilation video up hopefully before I go on the trip .
That looks so fun and freeing, Devin. Enjoy those thousands of miles. Gives me hope for my daughter to also have limitations removed from her life when she is older
It has been awesome 118.5 miles so far and enjoyed every minute and mile . A week from now I’m actually heading out to Payson to hang out with the Utah Trikes crew and shoot a Video or two and have a blast riding . Also hoping the edit the back log of various clips into a few vids of rig adventures and skiing before I leave .
This is so cool! A little over two years ago I was ejected from my jeep and broke my neck leaving me paralyzed. I’m starting to look into quads like this as fortunately I still have use of my hands arms and shoulders just no movement in my legs partial recovery of my core strength but not all of it. I think this will be a game changer for me I’m just looking at it wondering how I would transfer on and off of it from my wheelchair did those handles fold down at all so I’d be able to get on and off without standing up which I can’t do?
Hey Pat, realise I'm very late with this response. But yes, the handle can be uncoupled at the base and then folds away completely out of the way. If you check out Jerryrigeverythings channel when they announced it you can see them demonstrate it :)
Hi Devin! Great quad! I really like the color! Which green is that? Army green? Regular green or candy apple? It’s hard to pick a color from the Utah Trikes website…
I really did put my thought into it because I’d been following this project from the first prototype and I was one of the first to receive a Rig . The amount of freedom I’ve gained couldn’t be properly put into words .
No offense taken at all , many adventures down on Sherman ( my rig ) and 108.5 miles on the clock now , I’m heading out to Payson next month and meeting up the crew at Utah Trikes , ride and film a Video or two so keep an eye on both our TH-cam channels . Check out my second rig video if you haven’t already.
GOOD BLOKES HAVIN FUN .. NEXT U MIGHT NEED A SOLAR PANNEL TO KEEP THAT THING RUNNIN FOR EVER MAN IVE SEEN THEM DOIT TO GOLF CARTS .. VERY EAZY. WANNA SEE IF THAT THING CAN DRIFT ON THE DIRT NEXT
Ok now lets put a motorcycle engine on it. Im thinking a 1200 cc. It needs to be able to sit comfortably at 140 mph for ummmmm safety or traffic or something. 4 fenders with 12 volt lights. Spray paint the spokes lime green. Needs a 4 point harness and an angle sensing suspension seat. A cup holder would not kill anyone either.
My rig is one of the first manufactured and the drivetrain is limited for ADA compliance purposes . The revolution RS which is the hybrid Equad the Rig is based off , can be equipped with a 1000watt Hub Motor with reverse and and a 1000watt Bafang BBSHD. Then also it’s a available with the parts you stated .the recumbent seat with adjustable custom head rest , fenders , head lights , tail lights , turn signals , side mirrors, custom powder coat colors for both the frame and rims ,20x4 knobby tires , 6 x 17.5 amp hour batteries and gearing for a 35mph top speed

Quick question are you Therapist for a rehab in Malibu?
That’s what we should be doing with our technology - bringing people happiness!
I am so very proud of you son. You made this happen all by yourself.
That's great. I love it when people think outside the box but still think of a person's safety.😊
The heart of a true bike rider, “I can’t wait to put many thousands of miles on it!”
Hope you ride tell the wheels fall off
So many wonderful adventures!
This video put a big smile on my face. Hope you have fun and be safe.

It is a "NAW", Not a Wheelchair. Very cool and just expanded the user's world.

Hi! I am waiting on my delivery from UT. Did it come with free pallet?
Devin, where did you get that rack on the back?

Prismatic Army Green and Crinkle Black
Dad super awkward like "tell them thanks" after the kid poured his heart out.

We have a 21 panel solar system on our house! You nailed it. Solar to power the electric rigs!
May you show how a person gets in the rig
How to you transfer onto it… ?
This unit would be awesome if it could be collapsed or Brocken down
What the heck I never got a free pallet or stickers with my daughter's rig ... I was jipped
