Nerdy input from my side but what you're teaching is technically "Lost?", with the exclamation point, which is the acoustic version of Lost! Insignificant but still thought I should point it out. :P (Also, more trivia: Lost+ is with Jay-Z, Lost@ is the live version and Lost- is the instrumental only. I don't know why I know this.)

Haha, oh wow... had no idea!

HDpiano Also, what you said about the production, that's so true! With the entire Viva la Vida album in fact, Brian Eno has done an absolutely masterful job in the production department (especially with songs like Strawberry Swing, Death and all His Friends, Yes etc). In this song specifically I'd say my favourite texture would be Will's backing vocals towards the end, really lifts the emotional aspect of the track to a new level.

I knew that! It's cool to see that someone else does too! I think that Lost! is bigger and louder so it has an exclamation mark, Lost? is smaller and quiter so it has the question mark, Lost+ has a verse from Jay-Z so he makes the addition symbol, Lost@ is probably because when they play it, they have to be playing somewhere so it's an at symbol and Lost- is probably called that since it's an instrumental and loses the lyrics. Sorry, went on a rant and I have no clue why I felt like saying that... lol

I love when the guitar starts to accompany the piano and the voice in the second verse. It gives a war type of feel with the high E string ringing out

If you're talking about track # 3 version. The organ, especially the second one coming in on the second half of the verse is definitely my favorite sound in the song.
And the aeroplane effect on the keys at the end of the chorus, on the D chord.

My favorite part of the production of "Lost!" has got to be the drum beat since it brings me to life every time I listen to the song! Also, the piano version of "Lost!" is actually "Lost?" which someone probably already commented but still think it's cool! Love Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, best album in existence if you ask me! (Especially the Prospekt's March Edition!)

Just saying you guys should refer to Coldplay's own stripped back piano versions of these songs. For an example, search up "Lost?". The piano's are much more complex. Also, my favorite part of the song is the bombastic organ in the background
