With the help of some of these online videos I made the decision to go buy the Eureka. I live in an efficiency with just a little bit of carpet and little bit of hardwood floor and it did a terrific job of cleaning on both surfaces! Pro tip:. If the swivel seems like it's a handful and the vacuum is really giving you a workout, there's a good chance you put the floor piece in backwards. I initially did that and I was hating the swivel until I realized I put it on backwards. Once I got that corrected I had no problems at all with the swivel, it was working with me, not against me. Very happy with my purchase.
Some of the Bissell are for carpets and floors and come with a brush, the ones that come without a brush can also be used for floors and carpets. I had both, the first for bare floors lasted longer and vacuumed very well. With the one with the brush I had to keep removing and cutting hairs from the brush so that it wouldn't stop working. You have to try not to drop them, because in my case they both fell off all the time, so I think that maybe that was the reason why a screw came loose and they stopped working.
It would be good to include which one is more powerful. I have both too and I like that the Eureka because of the swivel- the bissel container doesn’t latch anymore …. it broke so I have to tape it to keep it on
Just found your channel; and enjoyed this video. I may want to start doing, vacuum mess tests videos, on TH-cam. However I would have to start off small;like with one of these models. What other than cereal,could I harmlessly use, for mess tests?
Hi! Does Eureka vac pick up hair well? I have a hardwood floor but in the kitchen and hallway, I have tiles with crevices. I am confused between Eureka and Bissell featherweight. Which one would you suggest according to my situation? Thanks
I had two Bissell canister vacuum cleaners. Both of them were use once and where used at my cottage no suction . I got fed up threw out and purchased a dirt devil canister instead. I think the eureka has a stronger motor than the Bissell. I am crossing my fingers hopefully the dirt devil will be okay.
As I watch, I am wondering if I should just stick with my shop vac, up against that wall, dirt is toast with a simple maneuver with my shop vac. But the canister is so big 😩
On the bissell site I have seen that they do not have some models that are only sold on Amazon, Walmart etc. I have also seen another purple featherweight model #20334 besides the one shown here in blue #2033, but I don't see what the difference is or which one is newer although the purple is cheaper at 27.99 than the blue 33.98. It seems to me that I am going to buy the cheapest one since it seems that the only difference is the color.
The vacuum r great for students small spaces small homes 1 bedroom apartment 2 bedroom apartment a flat for ur car but it doesn’t suck well I even tried turning it on watching it putting my hand down there and it comes out just that hole the wide space spot doesn’t such hard enough to slide things in if u had pet hair all stuck inside carpet etc it won’t work

This is great I am thinking to get the Bissel- not sure why the black on Amazon is $20 more than the other colors lol
The Black ones are recommended for carpet floor while others are for hardwood floor.
You can read the details on Amazon. It says it's recommended for carpet floor.

Are are the dust bags reusable and if so how many uses can we get out of each one?
No bags with these units, just reusable filters and a canister that you empty once full.
