I watched this shave on the big screen today, great flowers as always! Nice colors, been out at the mall taking some pictures for the Hot and Spicy page. Neat razor for a change of pace.Glad you did not get cut on the blade prep. Hope you had a great weekend, the family time must have been fun. Thanks for the great comedy and gentle humor. Nice shave today Paul, hoping you enjoy work and stay clear of those big rabbits. Always feel calmer and more joyful after your videos. Did you ever get on the BBC for something a few years back? I would enjoy watching those clips. Have watched some old camping videos on the other channels, quite excellent, great old friends here and there and Mrs. H joined you on later ones.
Thnx for the reminder of the twig. I usually get 2-shave from regular DE razor then snap it & get 2-more addition shaves from each 1/2. Providing blade holds up. Have a super day☝️

SOTD: T&S "Himalaya" soap/splash, Blackland ERA razor w/Wizamet blade, RazoRock "Hive" brush, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm to end...stellar. Great video and results, thanks. Enjoy the party.

Try the triple single-blade leaf razor. Total madness but a great shave. If you use a cartridge razor you should like it, the cost of the razor you will get back on saving on new blades.
It is Father's Day today in Austria. Had a enjoyable shave - used PAA Copalli Soap and Aftershave, razor is a Yaqi Excalibur V3 with a Kai Artistclub-style blade. Have a nice Sunday!

I couldn't get along with you Derby Extras or their Premium blades .I had some Astra Blue and didn't get along with the either. But I recently bought a new razor and it came with a tuck of Astra Blue SS and they worked great . So I would say if something doesn't work for you put it aside for awhile and revisit it later , you might find it to work better?? And I do like Astra Green blades. Anyway have a great day

Nice one Paul, I have the leaf thorn, it’s a great little razor. I don’t use it enough really. The bag of shaving cream is spot on, I have one plus they are a bit cheaper than a tub or tube. Enjoy your day with Mrs H and family

A bright and colorful floral display by she-who-must-be-obeyed. You managed a nice shave with the Twig. My SOTD was the old faithful 6S and a Nacet blade (4th use). Wet the Face "Infinity" soap using my PaulHFilms brush. Post-shave was the usual alum and witch hazel followed by Dove Men+Care Ultra Hydra Cream and Duru Turkish Lemon Cologne. Enjoy the birthday party and treats.

I think maybe you should match the colours of your shaving towels with the shirt you are wearing during your shave, as I often do with my shirts and the bath towels in my videos. All the best to you and the missus.
Great review Paul. Though the Wood and Spice shave cream performs well, like all Proraso , I found the scent very medicinal and not something I would buy again.

Paul I been double edge shaving for about 15 years however have I been doing it incorrectly?.....always put the balm on first then the aftershave but you did it other way round....
It wouldn't hurt answer comments once in a while
