You're right. I'm thinking Amado knows Kawaki is still Isshiki's vessel even with him being affected by Omnipotence. There's too much evidence and Amado's a smart guy. He didn't care at all that they were threatening to kill Boruto. So he knows.
My theory from jump is for the shinju to go to other villages. I don't think they're interested in replacing humanity. I do think they're interested is a cosmic war against the Otusuiki or that's what it's going to evolve into. The slave always dreams of defeating their masters. Humanity is just the mechanism that they're trying to use to get there. But it's Jura, beyond the temptations of greed? Power can be corrupting, and idk if he has enough experience with it to not let it be his end. It's my opinion that the creation of the shinju is an abomination in the natural order of the universe because in order for them to exist, they have to take away the free will of a person. This is why the story needs a Shibai. A god to restore the universe back into its natural order. This is why, at some point, he's going to manifest probably via Boruto. Chapter 1 rings in my head, Boruto says, "....I am still a shinobi..." Does this mean that he's also achieved a status greater than a shinobi?
I actually really like this take. I, too, suspect the Otsutsuki clan is still out there. Especially taking the anime into consideration with Urashiki's interaction with Toneri. I do believe Jura is hiding his true motives from the other Shinju. Jura and Matsuri likely know of Isshiki's history on Earth. There's still a lot of mystery behind the two missing Otsutsuki as well. A lot of stuff hasn't fully added up. And what that truly is, we'll just have to see.

Yeah, for sure. Hopefully, when the anime comes back and we get to this point in the story, we'll get more scenes with that version of Boruto.
