We experience the excitement of the Broome Rodeo, share a sunset with friends on Cable Beach, and journey to Gnylmarung Campground on the Dampier Peninsula. We started this channel to document our travels and share the amazing places we've discovered, and the tips we've learned along the way, including the delicious meals we cook on the road, whether in the caravan or over a campfire.

I agree with you about Roebuck Bay, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen and it’s different every time. Your footage definitely showed it at its best. Actually the whole of The Kimberley is my fave place on the planet. Wow the whales while you were out fishing, what a special experience, such beautiful animals ❤️❤️. Thanks for a wonderful episode.

Beautiful video, great scenery and drone footage as usual. So lucky to see the whales on multiple trips out in the tinny. Certainly hope they stopped and apologised for hitting your van. At least it was only the guard that was hit and you still have hot water. ❤❤

Thanks, we also loved Barn Hill it is a good place just to stop and just chill and good coffee too. There and Broome are both beautiful spots. Broome sunsets are right up there.

We did the Willie Creek tour last year. Highly recommended, particularly in explaining the oyster and pearl development process. It is both a tourist experience site, but also produce and sell the pearl jewellery. Also, no need to apologise for enjoying rock formations, collecting gems and rocks. Then again my degree from the 1970’s was in Earth Sciences.

So envious. That part of WA is spectacular. We were lucky enough to spend some time at the Broome Bird Observatory on Roebuck Bay, the walks along the coast are spectacular. Don’t worry about the rock comments, we always wished we had a pocket geologist on hand to explain everything. Did you see any dinosaur footprints? Safe travels on the Gibb. Lucky it’s been graded this year 🤣

Nobody goes to Cape Leveque on their travels to the peninsula on any channels
It was my favourite spot in my entire lap back some 20 years ago
Absolutely stunning and caught fish with every cast off the beach
Camped on the beach under a shelter with palm fronds for shade in a tent
Outdoor shower with a fire bbg

It’s a wonderful spot, but I hope is doesn’t get popular as the road in is very narrow and very rough in places.
Great video. Were any of the camps free? Please don't think that I'm being tight by asking this but the is a massive difference between free camping and caravan parks. Glad to see that you guys are using the boat. Stay safe.

Unfortunately there isn’t a lot in the way of free camps around Broome, except for James Price Point and some road side rest stops outside of Broome from what we saw
Oh and the one at Willie creek is free
