    I was surprised, I was expecting you to talk about the British K Class Submarine.

      @@wareboilers the k class were huge steam powered submarines developed by the british navy around WW1. They were extremely fast, but communication was a bit of an issue and due to this, as you can imagine, suffered huge problems with water ingress and sinking when crew didn't get the vents closed up in time during submersion. They were the forerunner of the nuclear powered sub, which uses steam turbines, with steam generated with heat from the reactor. There's a great book by a guy called Don Everitt that documents the K Boats, well worth reading. I was surprised when you claim to have the first steam sub, theyve been around for 100 years already.
