Great and soothing watching Indigenous people making oil from scratch. I pray for great pay, generational wealth and that ownership of the land stay owned by the Indigenous people.
Se ve un trabajo bien detallado y tan barata que venden la batana deberían de cobrar esa mano de obra que lleva tiempo y esfuerzo Dios bendiga esas manos trabajadora
In Togo we prepare the batana nuts the same like that. So the creamy juice is use to make a soup for fufu. We call it "dékoudéssi" Super when it is welldone. Then we extract an oil from the nuts. You can use this oil for cooking, healing, or as cosmetic
I have batana oil in my home now, and will be processing some soon. The oil also wards of evil spirits. But I have just found out it's good for hair, I am gonna try it out. I am from Nigeria
Ahh in Ghana 🇬🇭 we call it Abe or Palm nut its juicy cream is used to prepare palm nut soup and it tastes so delicious! How I miss my mom 😢hmmm may her beautiful soul rest in peace!
In 🇬🇭 my country, it's called palm kernel oil or aleagy oil. It is used in cooking as well as for skin and wound care. It is also used to treat ear infections. Anyway, very cheap relatively.
I read some of the comments Africa palm trees and Honduras palm trees are not the same they are related but carry different components or DNA so both oils wouldn't have the same effects. Try Wikipedia on both trees
It’s not the same doesn’t look the same will never be the same. Just because you want it to be the same as palm kernel oil from Africa it isn’t do your research folks.
We calling the batana plant in suriname obe plant.we cook it with a little bit of salt, and after that, eating it. They are making oil with the seeds..
@GabrielBertetti are you associated with the company , Batana Babe? They have this same video posted on their page and I was looking to buy Pure Batana Oil but wasnt sure if it was a scam because they used your video as theirs. Please advise. Thank you.
I just saw it too and now researching! But I’m also undergoing transformation to herbalist so of course I want to grow it! Finding seeds is about impossible
It's not exactly the same palm kennel oil that made from Red palm fruit. This is a different variety. The tree is very short and the oil from the palm itself is not red, kinda yellowish orange. We do have this variety in West Africa, where I'm from it's locally called 'Masanke', while red palm is called 'Glogboy'.
This plant is indigenous to West and Central Africa. It's called the Palm tree, it's fruits are called palm fruit. The fruit and kernel both produce oil. The fruit produces the red palm oil and the kernel produces a somewhat clear oil.
This is in West Africa. There are two types. The longer trees usually bear smaller fruits and the shorter ones bear a little bigger fruits. The oils have some differences in the way they look and taste. They both have inner seeds that you pound and process the powder to become oil.

no but is different you need to little research about two. Palm Kernel Oil: Derived from the fruit of the oil palm tree (Elaeis guineensis), which is primarily grown in tropical regions like Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America. Batana Oil: Extracted from the nuts of the American palm tree (Elaeis oleifera), which is native to Central and South America, particularly in regions like Honduras. Palm Oil: It has a reddish-orange color due to its high beta-carotene content and is semi-solid at room temperature. Batana Oil: This oil is typically golden-brown, with a smooth and creamy texture when in heat and solid in colder temperatures.
La batana es el producto de la extracción del aceite de la palma de ojón, en Honduras solamente crece en algunas zonas de la moskitia, en el Salvador tiene el mismo nombre pero no se produce en el país
I will never complain about the price again
