      Hi Douglas, I'm just in the process of getting some Gel inserts put into my seat. P&P seating, they do a lot of the bike brands. Triumph, Norton to name a few. I'll probably do a video about it. Take care, nice to hear from you mate.👍.

    Just curious on the tunnel bit. Do they strap bikes down and you stay with them. Or go to a pedestrian carriage. I've not been on it yet

      @bostinbrummie  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No Simon you don't strap your bike down. They just get you to put your bike diagonally. Most of the guys put their bike on the side stand when you put your bike diagonally. You only strap your bike down on the ferries not the channel tunnel. Incidentally I have now got an NC750X DCT, it's an automatic. I was going to get a 750 Forza but the price was too prohibited for me. I loved the Forza 350 but with the 750 DCT I've got that power, but I do miss the Forza mate.Hope this helps mate👍

    Hi Baz, great video, I know how you feel about the seat! I've reluctantly had to part company with my Forza as it got to painful to ride due to the lack of back support and the affect on my arthritic spine and shoulder. Looked at Airhawk cushions and other options, different rear shocks and could have spent hundreds of pounds trying to get round the problem without any guarantees that it would, have part-ex it for another Royal Enfield which I know suits me and will miss the Forza for its fuel consumption, performance and handling, but needs must. It seems that the seat design on maxi Scooters are similar across all brands being quite wide and very firm. Anyway hope you get yours sorted, look forward to seeing what the fix is and future videos. Cheers👍

      Hi Johnathan, great to hear from you mate. It's a shame you've had to part ex the Forza but I can completely understand why mate. The Royal Enfield Himalayan was so, so comfortable when I tried it but alas I can't go back to motorbikes because my conditions namely I've got gout in my left foot and it's extremely painful when changing gear. I looked at an Auto bike but this wouldn't have solved things because my right foot is numb on the ball of my foot and my toes are all numb. So when I use my back brake I can't feel it. It was too dangerous for me to carry on. That happened because I drove busses for 33 years. I didn't want to give up two wheels so I had no choice I had to go for the Maxi Scooter. I like yourself love the Forza but I am determined to get it right for me. If ever you get the chance to sit on a BMW GT 400 maxi Scooter and the Kymco X City 300 try them out Johnathan you'll be amazed mate they are what all seats should be. They are without doubt the most comfortable seats I've come across scooters or bikes. Great to hear from you Johnathan and yes I'll let everyone know how I get on with P&P seating. If I get a softer sponge then I'm hoping for a double affect. Because I'm so tall I get a tiny bit of buffeting on my helmet so with the softer sponge I'm hoping it will take me down a few millimetres so it will improve things on the buffeting and of course there is the comfort. Take care Johnathan and stay safe out there mate 👍🛵==}}}

      Thanks Baz, I can understand you having to experiment with seat comfort if you haven't got many options with other bikes, that said, I love the concept of the Maxi Scooter and in your case it's keeping you on two wheels which is the most important part and as we know they're more than capable of long distance touring. Did a four day tour on mine last year around Pembrokeshire with all my gear stowed away and not a bungee strap in sight, it handled it like a trouper, plenty of power and lapped up the Welsh Twisties with ease, but at the end of the day, age catches up with all of us and I need to be comfortable to enjoy it and particularly now with the cost of fuel I rarely use the car except for shopping. Anyway, take care mate, all the best.👍😊

    I just looked for airhawk on ebay I see they do cheaper copy version might be worth a try .I brought a gell type seat cover in 2019 that helped on long trip so I'll try that on my forza first .The key as get older is have more overnight stops .Not sure how may miles you did before reaching M25 and getting pain .Its probably more old boney arse than scooter it's self lol .I did my back in putting mine in the van after I brought it be 3 weeks Sunday just getting right .I've got trip to South Wales planned few days in August also have France trip with it in the van September just ride it around once there .If wife doesn't come will do it all on forza .Then October trip to Spain ferry to Santander wife definitely not doing that so Forza trip .Just hope I'm up to it or I've wasted 4 grand lol .All the best Julian

      Hi Julian great to hear from you again mate. Don't buy a air hawk mate I've got one you can have it free of charge mate no probs at all. I was selling it at the car boot the other Sunday but no one wanted it. It's yours if you want it mate. It comes with a cover, it's in the garage somewhere. I'll get back to you if I find it ok. If you do the Santander trip Julian then get a Google translate on your phone. My mate done the same trip and broke down. He said he don't know what he would have done if it wasn't for that app. All the best mate I'll get back to you soon about the Air Hawk 👍🛵==}}

    A question.How did you find the borders with regard to Covid paperwork? Was the NHS app sufficient? Did it even get checked? I cannot be arsed with visiting the continent if its all delays and bureucracy...

      Hi Peter, what I actually done is this. I downloaded the Eurotunnel app and then I uploaded the info off my NHS app. Also ordered my tickets as well through the app. I did print out my COVID jabs info off the app just in case I was challenged, but I never was. Hope this helps Peter. Great to hear off you. All the very best Barry 👍🛵====}}}}
