Hahaha... Yes, King of the Hill featured Chuck Mangione in several episodes. One of my favorite Chuck Mangione scenes in King of the Hill was the "Anger Management" episode, where Hank accidentally cuts Dale's finger off with a circular saw, and Dale presses charges, claiming Hank did it in a "fit of rage," hence the mandatory anger management classes... Anyway, if you didn't see that one, upon completing the class, when the teacher hands out the certificates, he deliberately misspells the students name's as a "final test" of sorts...Hank Hill is spelled as Hink Hall, and Hank calmly laughs about the situation as the teacher taught him, and then, in the absolute best scene in the whole episode, Chuck Mangione (who happens to also be in the same anger management class, because...Why not?), goes to get his certificate, only to see his name spelled as "Chick Mangione," and upon reading this, Chuck, who is carrying his trumpet/horn at the time (because it's Mangione!), replies: "CHICK MANGIONE?! I'm not a chick, I'm a dude!" Before smashing the teacher upside the head with his prized horn! This is absolutely, not only my favorite Chuck Mangione/King of the Hill scene, but one of my all-time favorite King of the Hill scenes, PERIOD!
@@Stanley.1977 The tunnel they dug in the alley was hilarious as well. Or when hank realized that Mad Dog was crazy once he started barking at Dale that caused his stroke.
I thought it said 1978 that would make Bill in his 30s lol he looks over 50 lol, is it 1986 I think said his dad is 75 that's about right chuck 46 here or 45

There are only a limited amount
Peggy: Hank!!!
Bill: CHUUUUUUCK!!
I watch king of the hill religiously and it was so relieving to hear him play feels so good 😅😂
Most underrated musician of all time. Him and his brother deserve so much more respect.
His music is one of a kind. That is the reason i like it so much.
I find his similar to Herb Alpert, Sadao Wantanabe and Gato Barbeiri but who's counting?
2024 y yo escuchando su música 🥰
Never letting go of that fuglehorn
this man is amazing
Feels so good is classic
I'd like to know what he thought about being on King of the Hill and how and why that even came about.
Much respect...Love me some Chuck
I love his smile!!! 😍😍😍😍
Who knew Al Pacino could play horns?
Looks more like that actor from The Fan. The one Deniro fought in the sauna.
just think, he almost died that day Hank blew up the Mega-Lo-Mart
Gotta love Chuck's squeaky voice.
Chuck is thee greatest
Love his music! Anyone know when this interview was done?
I was trying to determine that... I'm guessing Dave W is about 40? And Chuck about 50? So... 1990 or early 1990's?
Good stuff
War on Drugs? What a bummer.
hallo ! nice interview
what instrument model is he playing here ?
Alguien q pueda traducir esta entrevista al español🙏
Bill Boggle?
Lol he always seemed kinda depressed. Love his appearances in King of the Hill
Having to be at 400 store openings a year would make anyone depressed. No time to give his lady some tender sweet loving.
Pliiis traduce in spanish this interview
Please this interview in spanish!!!!
Ey you two I'm tryna eat
Would someone slap that interviewer upside the head?

When was this interview
AROUND 1980
Reggie Jackson was with the Yankees before Dave Winfield, was more famous and accomplished, but Davw got paid a lot more money.
The host hardly paid any attention at all to Mr. Rivers. He was too busy sucking up to Chuck.
