I remember seeing The Little Mermaid in theaters back when it came out in theaters. The combination of Alan Menken's awesome score, Howard Ashman's beautiful, heartfelt lyrics, and Jodi Benson's incomparable vocals had me crying like a baby from the sheer awesomeness of Part of Your World.
Now, we have you, Kristin, an incredibly talented pianist performing a fantastic, expressive and emotional cover that again has my eyes leaking copiously. I hope I am not the ONLY one with leaky eyes today!

You play with so much sensitivity and feeling. And it makes a huge difference when you phrase your music so well, as you do. Your wind instrument background is really evident in your playing .

I loved the little mermaid and Disney growing up, they were such a big influence on my childhood, so I named my daughter Arielle after the little mermaid (changed the spelling to make it more feminine).
Your face totally gives away when you make a mistake haha I do the same thing ! And so close to the end ! Gotta love it . Fantastic job none the less !

WOW! I have been off FB and TH-cam for awhile so I'm sure I'm a bit behind. What a beautiful young lady! In every way! A family friend just graduated with their Masters in Music and has had trouble finding work. As she said, they helped me develop my talent but never told us how to make a living at it. Its been a bad day for me today. Doctors and tests and hospital fowl ups Questions and more questions and no answers. It isn't time for bed and yet the bed keeps calling. Ok just one more click to see if I can find something soothing, maybe a bit reassuring with out forbidding. Ah here it is, that kid and the piano. something to set the beat and calm the soul. She is a blessing and doesn't realize how much good she does for those, like me, who really need it.
