When I was little, my grandma who was a lifelong pianist bought a Little Mermaid piano book so she could play this for me. She died this year a few days before my birthday. 🥲 RIP grandma, thanks for being a part of my world.

When I was a little girl, I loved this song. I didn't just love the words but I thought about them and I truly felt like Ariel except I wanted what she had! To be a person but not have a voice sounded pretty awful to me! It did teach me to learn to appreciate and value what I do have and not always want more. I look forward to learning to play this piece of music
