● india isn't interfering aggressively inside SriLanka.
● people opinion somehow changed after india helped them when they were in need (no one were helping them )
● some 🇱🇰 people may hate india but those were historical than recent 1
● india > Sri lanka is not islamic nation, so no terrorism threats from them , no ideological permanent conflict , so when india helped them so they don't need to jump into historical reasons .

With due respect Prof, this report seems biased against Russia. Even in Indo-Pacific, Russia is the third most powerful after US and China.
Russia is independent in food, fuel and military technology. India is so food only. Other things measured in the report don't seem that important.

India has no foothold in the Pacific and is essentially an Indian Ocean power.
In colonial times it was unchallenged from the Strait of Hormuz to the Strait of Malacca.
Today, however, China has bases in Djibouti and at Gwadar and is present in Hambantota. It can also bypass the Strait of Malacca by using the Sunda Strait. It has a huge number of submarines. So how 'powerful' is India?
