I'm stuck in a third wheel and whenever we go into groups of 2 I have to work on my own while they are having fun laughing, when we had a field trip I was crying thinking that they are fake because they chose someone else to sit with instead of me also when people make fun of me calling me ugly and stuff like that they just start laughing and saying even more rude things but when its them they defend each other they literally started planning a sleepover in my face and once she came up to me and said: "Look, me and her are matching bracelets isn't it so cute?" She would rather hang out with the popular girls than hang out with me and still expects me to be nice to her and call her. Once on call I was playing Roblox fashion famous with her and my sister and I said "Oh this looks ugly on my character." And then she says you are ugly, you are so ugly and thats why you have no friends. I tried joking around by laughing and she says " Just kidding your my bestie westie." I am really scared to trust her sometimes especially with my secrets, she has made me cry so many times that I cant even count I always try to hold in my tears but I cant and she just calls me dramatic I cry almost every night because of her....

However, it turned out that she was only using me for her own gain - money, fame, and better grades. Her betrayal left me feeling utterly devastated and even more depressed. Despite this, I hold onto the bittersweet memories we once shared. People come and go, people are just people, we should learn to move on and do better in life, maybe even prove them wrong. This happened to me, so basically I told my BEST FRIEND to come to the mall with me at 3.00 on Saturday and she said ok but right when we got there she stopped answering my calls and ignored my texts, I started to worry abt her and I even took my mom all the way to the mall bc of her. We were so worried and we thought my friend got her phone robbed from her, it was that serious that we had to tell the people in target to call her name through the speakers. My mom had an idea to call my other friend and tell me to come to target, so I did and me and my other friend went together. It was fun and all but that still didn’t make me forgot deep down what she did, when I got home my BEST FRIEND texted me and said sorry my phone died 😂 hahaha so funny I knew she was lying so I just told her, “how come your phone dies for 5 in a half hours”she said I don’t know sorry, the next day when we went to school I didn’t talk to her and still till now I never went out with her ever in my life. It hurts so bad and it really scars you. I hate so much that people do this! In my opinion you actually tell them it won't hurt as much as being ignored. I know everyone here remembers waiting on their phone or whatever your talking on everyday sover and over until you just give up. My best friend is the only reason i have trust issues. We met 5 years ago, we used to meet like everyday. Fun fact that were school besties but we used to live in the same street. (thank god, he was so kind.) but. this one dreadful day arrived. april 23rd, 2022. she told all my close friends i called them toxic, backstabbing jerks. (once again, never said that.) they belived her, because i was already kinda mad at them for writing off my depression as "attention seeking" and "dramatic." but i never would call someone such cruel, awful names! i lost all my friends. man, 6th grade sucked. but now, im doing great in middle school!

My heart honestly breaks reading the comments. I myself is in a friend group with other 4 people. July 2022 was when students went back to school. I had a really hard time finding friends because my friend before covid was now in another class and we hadn't really spoken too much before onsite learning. Then, one term, I had a deskmate, a girl let's call her as A. We both like the same game and everything after that became better for me. In the friend group, my 2 friends have already known each other before this and also with the other 2 (I was ever in the same classes with them tho) so, basically I'm like that one friend in a trio but, they all still take the time to talk with me and count me in in stuff! I've never hanged out with them yet but, I'm okay with that. If I were invited, I would definitely come. Just waiting if they are comfortable with me in their hangouts :D They gave me their discord too. The thing is I'm still a bit awkward and shy in talking so yeah- I'm trying to improve myself to be a better friend to them. I feel so lucky to have friends like them. So, to anyone that have toxic friends or friends that leave you out, leave them. They DO NOT deserve you! It will get better soon. This happened to me, so basically I told my BEST FRIEND to come to the mall with me at 3.00 on Saturday and she said ok but right when we got there she stopped answering my calls and ignored my texts, I started to worry abt her and I even took my mom all the way to the mall bc of her. We were so worried and we thought my friend got her phone robbed from her, it was that serious that we had to tell the people in target to call her name through the speakers. But we couldn’t find her or her mom so we just went home, I was so sad and there was tears coming down my face. My mom had an idea to call my other friend and tell me to come to target, so I did and me and my other friend went together. It was fun and all but that still didn’t make me forgot deep down what she did, when I got home my BEST FRIEND texted me and said sorry my phone died 😂 hahaha so funny I knew she was lying so I just told her, “how come your phone dies for 5 in a half hours”she said I don’t know sorry, the next day when we went to school I didn’t talk to her and still till now I never went out with her ever in my life.

It hurts so bad and it really scars you. I hate so much that people do this! In my opinion you actually tell them it won't hurt as much as being ignored. I know everyone here remembers waiting on their phone or whatever your talking on everyday sover and over until you just give up. But you should also remember that if that person does that to you it just means that their is always someone waiting for you that will treat you better. Everyone gets there place with love and friends and even family

What hurts even more is when you had a 7 years friendship then they replace you with someone they just met a month ago. This happened to me and I realized she didn't care about me after all . She was a fake friend .
My best friend is the only reason i have trust issues. We met 5 years ago, we used to meet like everyday. Fun fact that were school besties but we used to live in the same street. We had a new neighbor who studied in the same school as ours. She wanted to be our friend and it was totally fine. we were now a trio. We always tried to be a perfect trio but that's not easy how it seem to be. As said "trios never work" so me and my best friend always treated her like she's one of us now, and never made her feel excluded or left out. we cared about this alot! And the most sadest part is that, just a month ago i moved to another city, my best friend used to text me everyday like she missed me and stuff. Even tho she used to reply in a minute. But my other friend ( the new neighbor ) always ignored my msgs and comments. I mean she did reply but after a day or 6-7 hours. She was really an ignorant person. And last week i texted my best friend and she replied like after 2 days. I believed that she must be busy or smth. But she replied and said "STOP!, I'M WITH FOOFA" ( foofa was apparently her nickname ) and i was like "oh ok, enjoy" and she didn't even text me till now. It's been like 5 days! And you wanna know smth more sad? Foofa even blocked me. Literally for ntg. I've always treated them equally. Never made them feel like not loved. But i was happy that today my best friend texted me and said "Hi, how are you?, Am sorry for being rude. I was actually with foofa and i was a bit *IRRITATED* by your msg" I said "it's k" and i've promised myself i'll never wait for her again. And if she wants to be with foofa. She can. I won't interfere. idc i mean i care but idc. But yk it hurts when you get replaced with a girl who just entered in. Anyway my best friend thought me a good lesson. Rule #32 "NEVER TRUST ANYONE" Rule #33 "FORGIVE BUT NEVER FORGET" especially when your dedicating it to someone... 🍃

This happened to me..I was friends with this girl I'll call Delilah and another girl I'll call Jen. We hung out everyday and eventually, Delilah and Jen actually started dating, but they broke up a few weeks later. I was still able to get them to stay friends. For a few months, things were going great, but one day, Delilah left our group chat, with 0 explanation. Me and Jen were still best friends, but after a while, things just weren't the same. We're still friends, we just don't talk that much anymore. Apparently, Delilah thought that Jen was a stalker, because Jen was trying to check up on her to see if everything was okay. Apparently Delilah had new friends now. I actually reached out to her a few days ago, she said that it was never me, it was Jen. She said Jen was being toxic (idk how checking up on somebody is toxic..) and that she just had to get away from her at all costs. She asked if we could still be friends, but I haven't replied yet..Any thoughts on what I should do?

this hurts. in 3rd grade, i moved from maine to another place. it was a whole new school, and i didnt know who anyone was. i made alot of friends! infact, i was friends with everyone in my grade! but, there was one girl we'll call..sarah. sarah thought i was weird for liking things that are the following:

and many other things she didnt like. this resulted in me getting bullied. one day, she apologized. im a extremely kind person, and i give many, many chances to people! but sarah only got 2 after this. she used them all up, too. i chose to accept her as a friend! but..something felt..off. she would kick me, and hit me. when i cried, she didnt care. she wrote it off as a *joke.*
i told her i didnt want to be friends anymore. she bullied me, threatend me so bad i didnt want to go to school for THREE FREAKING YEARS. i went into 6th grade, the year where i was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. but, sarah made it worse. she spread a fake rumor about me, saying i cheated on my boyfriend. he didnt belive her, and he stayed with me. (thank god, he was so kind.) but. this one dreadful day arrived. april 23rd, 2022. she told all my close friends i called them toxic, backstabbing jerks. (once again, never said that.) they belived her, because i was already kinda mad at them for writing off my depression as "attention seeking" and "dramatic." but i never would call someone such cruel, awful names! i lost all my friends. man, 6th grade sucked. but now, im doing great in middle school!

My heart honestly breaks reading the comments. I myself is in a friend group with other 4 people. July 2022 was when students went back to school. I had a really hard time finding friends because my friend before covid was now in another class and we hadn't really spoken too much before onsite learning. Then, one term, I had a deskmate, a girl let's call her as A. We both like the same game and everything after that became better for me. In the friend group, my 2 friends have already known each other before this and also with the other 2 (I was ever in the same classes with them tho) so, basically I'm like that one friend in a trio but, they all still take the time to talk with me and count me in in stuff! I've never hanged out with them yet but, I'm okay with that. If I were invited, I would definitely come. Just waiting if they are comfortable with me in their hangouts :D They gave me their discord too. The thing is I'm still a bit awkward and shy in talking so yeah- I'm trying to improve myself to be a better friend to them. I feel so lucky to have friends like them. So, to anyone that have toxic friends or friends that leave you out, leave them. They DO NOT deserve you! It will get better soon. There are billions of people around the world and I know that you'll find a friend among the people. Hopefully everyone here will have a happy ending.
