PLD might be a diva but still he is good player. Both are rare talents. If they arent used in right way in right place that is the fault of coaching not the players.

Montreal has 7 picks in the first 3 rounds next year. There is definitely something they could do. And if Columbus is willing to take say Anderson and a 2nd, there might not be a need for Columbus to retain anything. It would only take 3 mil of the 20 mil cap space they have. Uhmm, Laine is an absolutist 😅You didn't know this? He has never touched any substance, not even beer. At least in Finland, it's a well-known fact.

A bag of pucks is an over pay. Worst work ethic and a defenive liability!!! He has lost any offensive upside!

Lmao, there’s a price for this guy? Columbus will need to pay to get this guy off the books.

If Columbus were to offer a 1st round pick to a taker it might work.

Laine has 0 trade value. Columbus will need to drop 1st rounder to trade him. Kuznetsov not even close 10 times better player and has 1 year left, big difference. Caps are good we don't need an anchor. maybe pittsburgh wants him 😂

There is good trade value if columbus retains half.

Laine isn't worth even a 3rd rounder since you will never get the old Laine back if you get an active player at all. You do not waste picks to downgrade the future with little to no return now. That would just be stupid. Laine with 0 salary retained and a 4th then maybe but anything higher then that is too risky. At half retained that would be pretty pricey if he is only good for 20 or 30 games over the remainder of his contract.
