    I must admitt that I watch your video from time to time just for plesure of looking at a well crafted piece of hobby retro hardware. Nice, clean wiring, clear component layout, and most of all - the front panel - that acrylic cover is way beyond most simmilar projects I`ve seen. 7-segments look sooo cool underneath them :D. Those keys also fits nicely. I personally think that for a project like this, presentation is a very important factor. Keep up the good work and keep inspiring people !

    The transparent front panel is such a brilliant idea, though it almost looks like a modern piece of gear now haha

    This looks sweet, so cute and functional (for a Z80 computer, for learning)
    The wiring is neat, the layout aswell. The acrylic is the nicest touch ive seen sofar. So now I stop with all the compliments and come with a question: Can you keep doing what you do, but please stay enjoying to do so. I love to see more. (More miniture vehicles is fine aswell, awesome.)

    Very nice work! I assembled a Z80 myself but I have found it hard to use commercial software like the Basic you used in your Project. As commercial software require some standards like specific address for video and ports, in my project I wrote a custom BIOS to deal with SD Card and Video board. Anyways, nice work!

    What did you use for the control pad? How did you make it?

    • @tokugg
      @tokugg  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear SlykeThePhoxenix,
      I'm using key encoder IC with dynamic key scanning .
      The key encorder IC is MM74C923, which is 20 key encorder.
      Regards,

    What type of keys is the keypad made from?

    • @tokugg
      @tokugg  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dear Jon Loruddo,
      I'm using key encoder IC with dynamic key scanning .
      The key encorder IC is MM74C923, which is 20 key encorder.
      If you do not get it, MM74C922 can be substituted. However, since the MM74C922 is a 16-key encoder, its capability needs to be extended.
      Hmm .... Am I answering your question?
      Thank you,
