Pulsey Creek was your first stop. A great place, but very popular. You have five great creeks on that side of the lake. Hendricks, Pulsey, Sulphur, and Galton. All those have multiple secondaries and great pea gravel long points. More money has been won in this area than any on the lake. Great choice for a starting point!
Your jerk bait strategy worked beautifully today, found a few other similar areas and caught 7 in about 4 hours between 11am and 3 pm, biggest smallmouth weighed in at 4 pounds. Thanks for the video.
@@MattBeckerFishing I plan on being there in a couple of weeks. We should fish. I’m hitting it again on my way to Florida and I slay them in the winter.
I am heading down to Dale Hollow tomorrow morning for my first time. After scouring youtube for months on insight starting from the southern tip of the lake, i found your video a day before my trip. This is EXTREMELY helpful and i can only hope these tactics will still work amidst this cold front that has come upon us in the midwest.
Heading to Dale Hollow for the first time in two weeks. Definitely dusting off the jerk bait rods for this one after watching this. Sharing this with all my buddies going with me.
Every year I go to at least one new lake for fun fishing and it seems to take me 2 or three days to get a good feel for it. You made some great suggestions that I am sure will help me reduce that time and start enjoying the fishing sooner. Thanks Matt.
Matt....it's middle Tennessee...lol. I fish it all the time..but the slot limit on the smallmouths is ridiculous!! 1 between 12 to 16in and 1 over 21in.....
