No, it wouldn't necessarily run your battery down quickly unless you got a bad battery, but with the engine running,it would run a little faster with the battery being charged, just saying !!!!
Your video is sadly lacking in two points. Number one, you ran the power line from the battery back to the lift, what did you do with all the slack ?Just let it hang underneath the vehicle to get caught on something and ripped off,you didn't address that part of the installation. How is it (The Wire) secured? Number two, you stated "use jam nuts on the bolts",would you care to explain what those are and how they work ? I know how they work, but I'll bet you a lot of people out there don't know how they work, they need explanation !!!! PS. You don't have to worry about shorting the power wire when attaching it to the battery,it's not hooked up to anything,it's an open circuit !!!! Thanks for listening,R.Anderson.
Do expect a disabled person to do this????? Most elderly don't have anyone nor the funds to have this done. Your title should be This is for people who have lots of money ONLY
We do have friends. People that have the energy and compassion that most normal people have, do not mind helping people that have physiological or psychological challenges.
I'm just going to get one with a ramp...nothing to break or go dead.
How do you do it manually when the battery won't work or line is cut.
Can you swing it away with wheelchair on it?
I assumed they would have their own battery. Doesn't the lift drain the vehicle battery pretty quickly?
