Here's what the XNITO founder told me: The CPSC helmet is tested at lower flat anvil and curbstone anvil drop speed than the NTA-8776 helmet. The NTA-8776 standard also require helmets to have greater coverage of back and temple, and thicker, more solid EPS foam. However, for cyclists who usually maintain their speed at 15mph or lower, CPSC and CPSC+MIPS helmet are also a good choice.
@@ChrisCrossed I think all of those are very nice helmets for casual riding. Now that I have added a second battery I very rarely go below PAS 3, and I live in Philly so I see a lot of city traffic miles. Add to that, some of the neighborhoods I go thru, I go thru fast as a rule. So a full face dirt bike motocross helmet with good ventilation is my friend. It's a situational issue perspective for sure, and when I don't see MIPS I tend to be a bit wary. Any who, drive on Chris, and thanks for the tips.

Is it necessary? I have a gyro helmet that has great reviews but I don’t think they’re specific to ebikes. Should I buy one that is?
i'm not sure what a gyro helmet is, but if you generally go faster than 20MPH on an ebike you should get it.
It's style, but it's not mips, and if your going fast you want mips or a proper motorcycle helmet. Cute lights though.
