I am Turkish and I love my greek brothers and sisters...
When left alone without politics and religion to disturb them the Turks and Greeks get along beautifully and enjoy each others brotherhood and support.
They are nice people and so are we...
God bless the Greeks and the Turks and we pray for unity forever as neighbors and similar cultures.

I am afraid it is not , unless Atina is a large scale of agricultural city. So many thousands acres of land is cultivated planted area in Adana. Just like in the song says : Adana'nın yolları eki... It was the 4th biggest city in Turkey and the government divided in to two approx 15 years ago. Still has a population of 2 million, the 8th biggest city. 4years ago I was in Athens and I know what it looks like. Of course it is a good capital city near by the sea. What I am trying to say it's just the resemblence of the names : Adana - Atina.!! With my respects...

@Igotangry turkish music is a mixture of greek byzantine music and persian-arabic style music, so is the food, where did you bring youre "turkish" cuisine from? from which mountain in Mongolia?

They were Turks but christians in Türkiya Karaman region. During the people exchange between Türkiya and Hellas in 1920:s they were expelled but they did only speak Turkish not greek. In hellas they were forbidden speaking Turkish. Now they probably are extinct. Former president Karamanlis were one of them.

yes they spoke turkish but were Greeks! They lost their greek language but remained greek were not islamized. Also in Greece they were many greek speaking muslims expelled in Turkey...

@yktrixta07 you can not show a single Turk that plays lir, but you can show lots of Turks playing saz which also a word defination of old Turkish sab-meaning to say, word. today it is tradition to play saz and tell good poets while playing it. other types of it is kopuz, dombra thanks to god which your thief people has not stolen from us like dolma(to fill), döner(rounds), sarma(to envelop), imam-bayıldı(imam-muslim religious leader-liked it), yoğurt(it gets more solid)..

@AaronHai1 no it is not Turkish greek fusion, greeks stole our songs called as türkü=means belongs to Turks in Turkish. but they clamied it belongs to them. if there had not been Turkish cousine, the greeks would still have been eating bolied sea urchind and artichoke. you can not show a single of Turkish meal widely eaten consumed sea urchin and artichoke, but can see greeks eating sarma -actually Turk originated. chinese eat rice on leaf, Turks eat rice with enveloped(=sarma) grape leaf
