I agree that the period should be extended. What I believe should be done is that as people bring money to the bank, the old notes should be withdrawn until none remain in circulation. This is how it is done in other economies.

Right now it has effects reduced kidnapping and banditry absolutely because no one can get enough money out even when ransom is requested and the remaining monies in the bandits coffers would be forced to go to the bank for proper accountability hereby reduces inflation in the system.

I went to the bank to withdraw 50 thousand, the bank gave me 40 thousand old note and 10 thousand new note.
They tried, the new notes is only to be withdrawn through ATM 🏧 only
