If Rill went serious from the beginning, Yuno and his whole team would’ve for sure lost. Even when Yuno did the assimilation with Bell, Rill wasn’t going all out. It really does create an idea of how strong the captains are. But Yuno is not too far away from achieving the level of power that a captain has.
Thats why hes not gonna get killed off like julius.hes too dumb to be op.hes strong but the stupidity keeps him from needing to be removed to keep the plot intact

It is true that rill is more powerful here, Initially he wasn't serious but at the end, he was serious( i can make anything now) But it doesn't mean yuno is weaker, he went toe to toe with a captain within very low duration. If rill is at lvl -20 then yuno must be at lvl -17 or 18. As at the end we saw that when rill increased his power it made yuno's spirit dive broke and destroyed his own crystal of course, So yeah rill is powerful than yuno here but extremely high diff.

Rill is archane stage type of guy. His magic is unique same as Dorothy and Zora and wizard king and the black bulls witch and her red cat. It means its not just one elemental magic but goes beyond that. Yuno gets star magic with his second magic book and gets in that mage section as well. All of them are good.

Langris fought 1v3 and major plot hole how Langris couldn't use magic when Asta's sword hit him, but Vetto with Asta's sword in his belly was able to do magic. Same writing how Yuno can use manazone to create a tornado inside objects so he could have made a storm inside the crystal to break it but plot wants a good fight

CAPTAIN RILL BROKE THEIR CRYSTAL. IT IS CLEAR AND THE WIZARD KING ALSO SAID THAT RILL UNLEASHED A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF MAGIC POWER AND THE CRYSTAL COULDN'T WITHSTAND IT ANYMORE.
THE CAPTAIN SHOULD'VE WON THIS BUT CLEARLY HE WAS JUST HAVING FUN. HE DIDN'T EVEN NEED A NATURE SPIRIT AND YET YUNO WAS STRUGGLING ALTHROUGH OUT THE FIGHT.

It is true that rill is more powerful here,
Initially he wasn't serious but at the end, he was serious( i can make anything now)
But it doesn't mean yuno is weaker, he went toe to toe with a captain within very low duration.
If rill is at lvl -20 then yuno must be at lvl -17 or 18.
As at the end we saw that when rill increased his power it made yuno's spirit dive broke and destroyed his own crystal of course,
So yeah rill is powerful than yuno here but extremely high diff.

People saying Yuno is stronger than Rill seems to forget about elements affinity. Fire is week agains water but strong against wind. Ecc. Rill has all the elements. He is just childish and is not fighting to survive. All he cares about is painting. Rill is definitely a wizard king candidate. Yuno is already a king candidate for the spade kingdom. Rill is archane stage type of guy. His magic is unique same as Dorothy and Zora and wizard king and the black bulls witch and her red cat. It means its not just one elemental magic but goes beyond that. Yuno gets star magic with his second magic book and gets in that mage section as well. All of them are good.
Idk why people try and make it seem like Rill was barely trying in this fight when he literally said "I never knew that fighting at full power would make me so happy". Probably because they didn't think it would make sense for Yuno to be captain level this early in the series

Langris fought 1v3 and major plot hole how Langris couldn't use magic when Asta's sword hit him, but Vetto with Asta's sword in his belly was able to do magic. Same writing how Yuno can use manazone to create a tornado inside objects so he could have made a storm inside the crystal to break it but plot wants a good fight
