Apart from all the references which ARMY catch and others might miss, and the way they open themselves up so honestly, this is also apparently very reminiscent of the music of early Kpop groups. Simpler, purer music and stories. So an homage to the roots of the genre. Which is why it has exploded so much in Korea, and why SOME western listeners seeing it as simplistic. I love it personally and I think it is the perfect lead track for the anthology. See what happens tonight in the performance.

Firstly I just wanted to say that JKs vocals are amazing and the lyricsare so poetic and beautiful. Secondly the MV itself has this calming effect (which also is emotional to me). I also love how they sing about how much they love music and doing eat they like. It's like they are looking back on the past and looking forward to the best that's "yet to come". Also there are references to past MVs including Springday, BST, no more dream aka the bus, Run and i need you as well as more. I don't know why but this song is bringing tears to my eyes and I can't help but smile through out the whole thing and them wearing all white it's like they are angels singing to us (which in reality they are). I also love the melodic beat of the music as its so relaxing and calming. Also I love the message through the song that is the best moment is yet to come so keep doing what you love. South Korean military service is only 18 months. It used to be two years but they changed it a couple of years ago. It goes by faster than you think, and I read an interview with Bang Shi Hyuk before Jin’s 28th birthday when they extended the age limit, that BTS was recording new music to be released while they were serving in the military so the fans won’t miss them too much. That’s If they do end up having to serve a traditional military service instead of a diplomatic service like is currently under discussion.
i doubt it’ll be the military service but you never know with the talks and changes. think i’ve read the exemption would be a couple weeks instead but you know they’re the pride of sk and just wanted to safe, healthy and happy at the end of the day.

It's an anniversary song that reflects on past accomplishments & history, but also acts as tone, bearer & disclaimer saying that they are not done yet, because the average life span of bands in general is around 10 years. This does not necessary include other types of more traditional bands such as orchestras, symphonies, marching bands, gamelan, etc. Technically this is BTS' 9th anniversary after debut, but if you average out their trainee days, then sure it's more like one decade then. But, next year should be their actual 10th, & because "10" is symbolically a special occasion, then I hope they have some huge celebration for that. We & BTS just have to wait one more year. Next year is also ARMY's 10th. Well, there better be some HUGE worldwide party in mid 2023 for BTS+ARMY, lmao. Oh & yeah, the military service ... we don't know what's going to happen. They have influenced SK military laws, such as deferring deployment to age 30, which really came from BTS, when it used to be at a lower age. Some people in SK government have also been vocal about exempting BTS from military altogether. But if they are to go, for me I think it would be best if they all go at the same time. However, a worst-case scenario is that some actual war breaks out & SK would have to be involved, which then that means BTS may have to be called to action, whether in the field or holding down the fort at HQ. I hope no wars would happen at all, but you cannot dismiss that possibility either. We have already seen Russia invade without warning, so we don't know what the future holds for the rest of the world.

My personal opinion.....This year either they will enlist in the military or they will get exemption.....tho we say if bts enlist army's won't but let's be real when an artist inactive anything might happen...I think grammy is the one big thing as an artist they didn't achieve so they wanted it....if they get exemption then their new era will begin and if they get enlist and come back 2years later still another era...so this anthology album is looking back to their career and how far they came to give a closure to their most important part of life.....since their contract is upto 2027 ig? So this is the only theory I have...
