    Ive been seeing your videos and this new controller is powerful. I'm still a noob when it comes to ebikes in general but there is a significant change. You seem more smooth and faster👍. also are those wheels stock or did you buy them somewhere else?

    • @SurronNYC
      @SurronNYC  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The pickup is definitely faster and it does feel smoother. I calibrated the throttle curve some more and it feels great now, like I have better control of the bike. The tires I bought - these are Shinko 241s. The stock tires are not that great for street riding

  • @ninja636king
    @ninja636king ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thanks for the video. How's the full speed with it. Same or more top speed? Also anymore full speed range with it? I can kill mine in 20 miles. More range is so needed

    • @SurronNYC
      @SurronNYC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On stock battery? Yeah you definitely gain speed can go 50MPH gps verified. The faster you go though, the more it kills the battery cuz you’re pulling more amps. The upside is that you can program the regen braking to activate when you pull on the brake lever, resulting in better braking and regenerating the battery when you do so. I’ve gotten a 72v battery by now and have insane range now, over 100 miles.

    • @ninja636king
      @ninja636king ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SurronNYC which 72 v battery are u using for that much range? That's crazy. Or is that at chill speeds.

    How are you liking it? Any noticeable changes from stock to make it feel worth it?

    • @SurronNYC
      @SurronNYC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah definitely noticeable. I haven’t had a chance to even up the settings yet. They are on default. The throttle modulation feels much smoother and I feel like I have better control of the acceleration. The takeoff and torque feels the way it did before I put the shinko tires on. I can get the wheel up again. I also need to find a way to hook up the regen to my brake levers cuz that’s a huge benefit for the braking

    • @SurronNYC

  • @Buffetology
