Lovely harvest! Elephant garlic really is immense isn't it? and with great flavour. Re peas with pretty flowers, may I recommend Carouby de Mausanne - it's a mangetout type, sweet and tasty, with amazing purple and pink blossoms. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden with us.

First time watching your videos and really enjoyed it. I have read that if you plant small cloves of garlic then you usually get small bulbs. So it may be worth buying some new bulbs in autumn or only planting the biggest cloves you have. :-)

Another good method of knowing that you garlic is ready to be harvested is when you remove flower spikes/scapes (you need to, as the scape ripening takes from the bulb) to keep one or two of them and when the bud is starting to crack, this is the time to lift the garlic. The bulb with the scape will be a bit smaller but it’s a very good indicator. 😊

Coco coir is great for sprouting seeds but then seedlings just need to be transplanted in to a normal compost with nutrients, I’ve leaned it last year too 😊. Or in the seed tray layer of compost at the bottom and coir compost on top👍

I love your channel - we’ve just bought an old farmhouse and I really want to go big with a kitchen garden so I’m learning lots thank you ! You also managed to make me go down a runner duck rabbit hole so I think I’m going to get some of those too !

I harvested our first broccoli of the season last night. It’s so hard not to munch the veggies as they are being picked.
